I give the sofa a 2/5 and that is a generous rating. Let's start with what I liked about the sofa, it looks pretty. It is very modern and most certainly lighted up my living-room. It was also realtively simple to assemble, despite not having very descriptive assembly instructions.
Now...Let's talk about why overall the sofa was a disappointment overall. 1) it is literally like sleeping on a rock, I have slept on Army barracks that were more comfortable than this. I tried a sleep test the night I got it and half way through the night, I got up because I couldn't sleep. 2) It is a very cheaply made product, in order for my to attach the arm rests to the sofa, you need to flip it over and screw them in, however they put some cover material over it, which you have to cut open in order to even get to the holes. When I cut through the material, mutliple pieces of wood were splintered and cracked. 3)I received the sofa and assmebled it on the 17th, and only sat on it a couple of times and attempted to sleep on it the first night. I had it for a total of 3 days. I went into the living room and noticed that the couch was leaning on one end. Upon looking at it, there was cracked beams of wood that the sofa legs attached too. It no longer could support the weight of it and had forced the leg into the couch. 4) Apparently the company (Furniture Mania) that sells the product is very difficult to communicate with and do not have an active customer service number. Wal-Mart also can't accept the return simply because they are a third party. Overall, I am displeased that Wal-Mart would sell a product that they cannot return and the overall quality of the couch is pitiful. I paid ~$259 for a couch that is less than desirable
