This is quite an update in Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. I don't know why the cut out in the middle and it doesn't seem to affect anything. I like the touch and feel of the keys and I am very happy with the keyboard. The thingy that you put in the computer to connect the wireless is in a slot in the battery section. It was a little hard to find. I am most happy and satisfied with this keyboard and would not buy any other brand.

Best ergonomic keyboard without being bulky.
This is by far the best ergonomic keyboard I have used. I actually bought one for work as the ergonomic keyboard they supplied was big and clunky. Very quiet other than when you hit the spacebar. I would highly recommend this. Had searched for the best price and this was it!
Great for wrist pain
I have a problem with my wrists and needed an ergo keyboard. I looked at several before finally deciding. I am VERY pleased with my purchase. The angle is perfect to keep your wrist alignment straight. The touch is very light and the wrist support is perfect. I wasn't so sure about having the keypad separate, but I like that I can put it where it fits best on my desk. It does take some getting used to where the buttons are (home, end, delete, etc.) but with time I expect they will become second nature. Wish I had bought it sooner.
