Comfortable, quiet, ergonomic
I use this keyboard for my novel writing hobby, for my home office, for my worksite office, and for PC gaming. Note that I do not use this for pushing more than 3 keys simo so I do not know if/how this works for games like that. The keys are easy to press, not very noisy, and comfortably placed. This includes me typing with long natural nails. The letter keys are mostly the same size other than the ones along the center line and it does not throw me off like some of the odd key sizes on other ergo boards. I did remove the attachment on the bottom of the board that lifts it up - this lines up better with my desk, chair and neutral arm position - but I can imagine that a person needing to reach at a down angle to their board would like this attachment. This is by far the favorite ergo board I have ever used.

Worst keyboard
I bought this keyboard to replace one exactly like it which I assumed was a lemon since it's keys starting printing the wrong letters and numbers after a short time! I could press an "a" and maybe get a 7 and visa-versa. This keyboard did the same thing only this one started doing this the very first day! It's boxed up and going back. Too bad because the split keyboard is perfect in size.

Awesome Keyboard

My wrist no longer hurts when typing for a long period of time, there are bonus keys on this keyboard that I was thrilled to get, because I was simply looking for an ergonomic keyboard. The space bar is not as smooth as the other keys but is doing just fine and i thought the 6 was supposed to be typed with the right hand, not left, that has been an adjustment to make. Overall i love it and would buy it again.

Great keyboard

Love the angled keyboard, I find it very comfortable to use. Also the 5 function keys on top you can program for web pages

I have used this keyboard for years at work, in fact all of the letters are worn off, this one I bought for my home because during this work at home phase, I was really missing my keyboard!!!

Great product!

This is the second Microsoft ergonomic keyboard I've purchased. The first one I won on a bidding site and it cost me $14. Although this one is more expensive, it's still a tremendous buy.

Good product

Not sure who provided the incorrect tracking number but the wrong item was said was delivered first so I contacted seller thinking item was lost but it already arrived but it was labeled on website as another item.

Good keyboard for big shoulders

I wear a 52 jacket (big shoulders) and so my hands come to a point at the keyboard. Because the board is curved.. I don't have to bend my thoroughly arthritic wrists to get to the keys. It is lovely, and after you get use to it, you stay with it.

A very good keyboard, better than the standard issue I was given at work.

I really like the comfort of the hand placement for my waist . I type 6 to 8 hours a day at work and this Ergonomic Keyboard has really relieved some of the strain due to early stage carpal tunnel syndrome. I would recommend this item for the comfort, it's easy to adjust to if you have never used a ergonomic keyboard, set-up is easy (just plug it in) and you can't beat the price $$$$$$. Woohoo!!!!!

1. Yes, I have it and a HP computer also..but you really need to check the compatability of your system. I have Windows 7 and it works great. First I was going to purchase a different one but it wasn't compatable with Windows 7. But I'm glad I got this one!
by GrammyNita

1. yes

2. No, this is a usb wired keyboard. Microsoft does offer other models similar builds that are wireless
by EdNYC
3. No, the description is incorrect. As you can see from the photo included with the item description, a cord runs from the back of the keyboard.
by EspeeDad
4. It comes in two versions - wired and wireless.....go by the picture and description to be sure.
by FireEyes777
5. It isn't wireless. It has a usb port.
by MidTennUSA
6. no, it is not. you can clearly see the cord in the picture. some companies when they have two keyboards, wired and wireless will use one description for both to save effort and manpower. makes sense but gets confusing at times. there is a wireless version for around 20 dollars more, tho, but the wired works great!
by Inusagia
7. The model 4000 is NOT wireless. The 7000 is the wireless model and you will pay a lot more $$$$ for it. Plus I found out the wireless adapter gives out quickly and Mircosoft does NOT sell replacements!!!
by lakelady1390
8. Not the one I bought. However there is an identical one that is wireless - and at about twice the price.
by Tatton
9. No. This is a mis-print on the Wal-Mart website. I would contact them and see what is up. Under tech specs it gives you the cord length.
by cullens888
10. NO. Keyboard is NOT wireless. Also it is not user friendly. I've had split keyboard for many years & this model has larger keys for the middle section which makes getting to the "B" or "n" improssible without totally moving entire hand. Usually Microsoft puts out a better product.
by ApplePieServedWarm
11. Nope, it's USB, not wireless.

I've had zero compatibility errors with this keyboard.

7. Yes this keyboard is compatible with the windows 7 operating system.
by watchmaker
8. Yes it is compatible and fully functional within Windows 7; 64 bit version too. Most non-standard keys will work right out of the box, but I believe you need the software for assigning the "My Favorites".
by SoCalDuane
9. Well, considering the keyboard is made by Microsoft, and so is Windows 7, just a wild guess would say yes. Duh!
