Wow, surprised at the bad tasting review. I only found it this year, so maybe they changed the recipe for the better. As a person who has to eat gluten free for medical reasons, I love this pie shell. I always have to make my own pie crust. This pie shell was delicious and an excellent replacement for non gluten free crust. I bought it in the store so I had no broken crust problems. The price was awesome. Normally gluten free items are way more expensive. This was only $1.30 more than the same brand not gluten free. I will happily pay the difference

Not this year
I've bought this product, same brand, before and it was great. Not so this year. Got it to make my usual thanksgiving treat and family was so excited to eat it. As soon as everyone took a bite of this crust, they spat it out. Had to scrape pie filling off of graham crust to serve it, as the crust was just disgusting. If you could transfer a smell to taste like something...this crust would taste the way lincoln logs smell. Yes, it tasted like wood chips. It took a few for everyone to nail what 'that taste was'...but all agreed the crust tasted like lincoln logs smell. Don't know if Mi-del changed recipes or if they got a new producer of their product, but it's awful this season. I like the convenience of not having to make a gluten free graham crust from scratch, but will have to at Christmas as I am NOT going to buy this again this year.
