    From Flake to Fab-Fantastic Frijoles

    These refried beans are great on flavor and easy to prepare. Bag vs can is a no brainer, just grab a bag particularly if your on the go. Wherever you are work, camping or home. Just pour desired amount into a appropriate container add water, microwave/stove - done. Best of all constancy can be worked based on preference or need - though reducing or adding water. Before and or after cooking.

    Thesea re the best

    I can't buy them locally, so when I go to Texas to my grandchildren, I stock up . I love being able to use just enough. I can make as much or as little as I want to. They are smooth - I do not like my refried bean thick, so I can make them as thin as I like. They also make a great thickening in chili.

    Why I switched to freeze dried over canned

    When I discovered Taco Bell was using freeze dried pinto beans in their stores I decided to give them a try. I find them to be closer in taste and texture to cooked from scratch beans, I like being able to choose my own seasoning . I also control how thick or thin by using more or less water depending on whether I am using the beans for tostadas, burritos, a side dish or a quick and easy soup. The only problem I have encountered is they are a great pantry item so sometimes they are out of stock.
