Great shoe - finally had to replace after 5 years.

My previous pair finally needed to be retired after 5 years of hard use. This shoe is very comfortable, durable, and has good arch support which was very important to me. I wear them all the time from casual use to working outside doing yard work and cutting wood. Because I wear them rain, snow or shine I waterproof the heck out of them with Obenauf's LP (highly recommended.) The waterproofing significantly darkens the leather, though. Also, waterproofing them means they don't breathe well so they get hotter and probably stinkier. Not the fault of the shoe, just a fact of waterproofing with a wax based waterproofer. I hope they continue to make this shoe for a long time. If I only got a few years out of them I would still be happy, but so far the longevity has exceeded my expectations.

I even use them as golf shoes!

I am a retired who is blessed to be able to regularly hike in the Phoenix and South Jersey areas, and sometimes to the Poconos. These are my second pair of this model. I haven't needed to use my mid--high hiking boots in a long time, even on rugged terrain. And, yes, they also have just the right tread to also serve as golf shoes for me.

Perfect shoes for me and quite a lot of others

I'm guessing I've been buying Merrell Jungle Mocs for about 20 years. They're good looking for me to wear at the office, they're comfortable, they have a very good fit, they offer very good grip on various surfaces, and they're reasonably priced. What's funny is that I run into people everywhere wearing the same shoes. So apparently there's quite a few people that share my opinion.
