Great work boot
I always buy timberland for my husband it's the only kind he will wear. Never disappointed
I'm very happy with the purchase. The sale price plus an additional promotional discount got me these boots at about half-price. The boots are great...not seconds or rejects. Fit great, insulated, totally waterproof, and comfortable. I love them!
From Snow to Going Out
Great all around boot. Not too hot, not too cold. Unless you like wearing many pairs of socks, buy it 1/2 size smaller than usual. And it looks good with jeans when going out, not like you just got back from moose hunting.Took about 2 hours to break them in. Not bad.
Sturdy and Comfortable
They were comfortable out of the box, although a bit wide, and served well on a first hike. The non-marking sole is nice. They work well with orthotics. It could be a 1/2 size too large in general from what's marked, but good with my inserts. I haven't put the waterproof claim to the test, but I think they'll do well. I recommend replacing the laces with leather - much easier to get to a comfortable fit. Overall, they're a bit clunky looking. I'm used to my other boots, which are more form fitting. I think they're looking better as they break in though. They go well with most everything I wear.
