I like the overall look, they are very sleek yet rugged. What I dislike is how big they make my feet look, I am a size 11 so my feet looking big wasn't initially the problem. But I put these in and they looked ridiculously huge, but they fit me kind of big so I'm needing to get a size smaller.
I was searching for black classic Timberland Boot for my husband. I found them about 30 dollars cheaper on Shoebuy. Steal right? When we got them they were looked fine, except he has a pair and there are some differences. The lining and symbol and everything are the same; however the inside of the shoe is not leather and the sole was glued slightly off. Still a good pair of boots and made well, but it would be nice if they stated they were imitations.
This boot looks fantastic when worn and seems of decent quality.
It is a bit rough on the inside.
The tongue is not smoothly attached leaving stitched protruding leather that creates pressure points on the top of your foot that can cause great discomfort.
Over tightening the laces seems to help with this but then your feet are cut into so tightly by the hard thin laces that it is really uncomfortable on your upper foot.
The laces are way too short. (46") and to be successfully used and tightened must be cinched up like a torniquete.
I am installing upgraded, larger, stronger and less impacting 54" laces and hoping for more comfort while wearing these beautiful boots.
Another note would be that the traction is not very good on slick surfaces.
I climb in and out of trucks all day and these boots lost traction and slipped more than once on wet bumpers unlike any boot I have worn before in my career.
Probably best for a dress boot than a work boot.
The box was great. The contents inside was not so great! The boots look like they had been beat up before they put it in there! Very disappointed because they were for a family member celebrating their birthday.
Very disappointed to have spent this much money on something that was misrepresented. They were a gift for my nephew and I was embarrassed to find out I gave him fake timberlands, especially paying this much money!
