Works for me
I got a great deal on two pairs of Drews two years ago at a 'going out of business' sale. Lucky for me, because I won't have any other make of casual shoe now. And I can order online and know the size is correct. Comfort is key. But the black leather Aaron is stylish enough to wear to the office and many social events.

very poor construction,
I bought these shoes a while back and to be honest one of the worst pair of shoes I have owned ,I loved the look but the shoe fell apart and would not clean up very well. I would have been just as satisfied with a $20.00 pair of sneakers but I spent $130.00 plus on these! just not happy!!!

Super shoe for those without perfect feet

I got my husband a pair of these Drew Aarons about 2-1/2 years ago after purchasing a pair of Drews for myself to use while working our on our treadmill. Mine were so darn superior to the inexpensive athletic shoes I'd previously purchased (I don't wear this type of shoe except when exercising so I figured no need to spend for a better pair) that I figured with his virtually flat feet, they would be great for him. He loved them even though he thought he would have trouble getting used to the included orthotics. I convinced him to leave both of them in, as they'd make his very bad back feel a lot better if he walked a lot or had to stand up for long periods of time. By the second wearing, he was singing their praises. Fast forward to the present and I figured he could use a new pair and move those to secondary status -- you know the times when you might wash the car, work in the yard or wear them on a horrible rainy day when you just KNOW you're going to end up stepping in a big gutter full of water. I was tickled to find the Aaron still available on Shoes.com, as no one else was still carrying this model. When he slipped the new ones on a week or so ago, he was in heaven all over again. He's receiving cancer treatment in addition to treatment for other maladies (like stenosis of the spine), and often has to walk long distances in the hospital where he gets treatment and undergoes tons of scans, x-rays and MRIs. Comfortable shoes with great orthotics really helps him get through long days and endure less back pain that day and the day following those long walks. I'm tempted to come back and buy another pair right now, while I can still get them. Got a nice price on them, too, by using a 30% off coupon I got from Shoes.com. Super selection, decent prices and quick shipping makes me always come back here when I'm shopping for shoes. It's also sweet they carry a multitude of sizes and widths, too -- great for the 6'4" guy whose shoes enter the room a half second before he does!

Best Shoe Made

I have very bad feet the right foot is even worst than the left due to surgeries. I have ordered many many pairs of shoe and sent them back. I'd say 50 plus different pairs I tried. I always wore New Balance until I found the brand of Drew Shoes. They have been a life savior for me. I can put them on and my feet feel good. I can again walk short distances and can bare wearing shoes again. I Love this Brand.

Works for me

A tennis shoe that makes my feet happy

Traditional sneakers for tennis don't seem wide enough for my feet, or if they are, they are either heavy and clunky or have no substance to them to provide a cushion. The Drews (Aaron) is a little heavy at first for long singles tennis matches, but after a few nights on hard courts in these shoes, my feet were thanking me! The cushioning and responsive fit more than compensated for the disadvantage of the weight. The main insole of two that came with the shoes was too thick for the lateral direction changes required for tennis, so I used the thin alternate insole over a very stiff and thin bottom insole. The size and width of the shoe still leaves my 3E feet plenty of breathing room and comfort. Worth every penny of the price in terms of stability, cushion, and improved sleep. Joint pain in toes, ankles, and plantar tendon is gone. These shoes should be every foot specialists starting point for building custom orthotics.

Great Quality Shoe

I am pleased with everything about the shoe with the exception of the width. They are 6E but seem to be closer to 4E. I have a pair of Drew Tucson That are 6E and I wear them all the time because they are the correct width.

Well cushioned

I have always bought New Balance because they have 6x wide. I discovered Drew has 6x wide also and It is a better cushioned, more comfortable shoe. I give the Aaron a five star rating

Drew shoes are great for diabetics

Very comfortable shoe. I am a diabetic and it works very well for my wide and swollen feet. Just remember to order and half size smaller than your true fit.

Beautiful well constructed shoe but not sized correctly.

This is truly a quality shoe and extremely well made but it does not fit my foot. First of all it seems to be very heavy and while most of the shoe fits my foot the heel does not. The heel is too wide therefore my heel slides up and down and sideways. I have never experience this with any other shoe that I have purchased. For these reasons even though it is a very good looking shoe and very well constructed I feel that I have to give it only 3 stars.

Disappointing

One month into the purchase and the shoes suffered sole separation. I had them professionally glued twice and they came apart within a week each time. The separation specifically occurred were the rear heal thread meets the flat sole.

very poor construction,
