Men's Carolina CA7528

This is a heavy, well-made, sturdy, work boot. It runs narrow, I had to get 4E when I usually wear standard width. The composite toe helps keep the weight down a little, but it still substantial. The sole has aggressive tread, which is great for the mud, but picks up a lot of stones. I work in construction, so I have to check my soles every time I step onto a roof to avoid damaging it. The boot is warm enough for winter, but not too sweaty in the summer. In general, a very good boot.

This is the 1st pair of Carolina's I've owned. I don't usually buy boots over the $80-ish mark, but since my company was picking up the tab on this one I bought these. I'm on my feet all day (10+hrs) 5 or 6 days a week sometimes 7, on asphalt and concrete mostly. These boots are probably the most comfortable I've owned yet, and there was pretty much NO break-in period. I've actually said "When I put these on it feels like my feet are getting into bed." I'll be getting another pair of Cackalacky's next time I need boots. Great boots!

I've been wearing these boots for several weeks now and I'm very happy with the purchase. You can tell when you open the box that this is a well made boot, from the quality of leather down to the stitching. For other would-be-purchasers, I would like to note that I normally wear a 12 wide and that I found the 12EE to be a half size too large and the 11.5EE fit much better. Also, the composite toe is significantly lighter compared to steel-toe boots I've worn, which is nice.

I love these boots. I'm a pipeline surveyor so I put them to the test. Its the only boot I'll wear for work and will always go out of my way to find a pair!

Very comfortable for work boots. They did not require any "breaking in". I really like the non-steel safety toe.

Boots feel very tight for a 2e boot. Feels smaller than size I ordered. Having trouble with left boot. Still breaking in boot, but feels very tight. Seems to be water proof I walked in alot of puddles to try out, so far ok.
