i recomend this item

it comes 99% pre assembled.. just needed to add the foot rests and that part was simple. it folds up so easily. its light weight to transport. its sturdy put together well . the seat is light weight but ill probubly add a pillow for more comfort for my 93 yr old mother. the hand breaks are so convenient and easy to use. for the limited amount of time she will be using it, its better than a big wheel chair.. my mother is about 5'6 . you cant raise up the chair any higher. so if you have really long legs it might be uncomfortable with your knees up so high.. but i do recommend this product. the box came all taped up but everything was good inside and product matches decription

Light weight and very portable.

The time of delivery couldn't have been better. It arrived within the week after I ordered it for my mother's birthday which was the next day. It was packaged well, opened easily, and was ready to go after putting on the leg rests which was also easy to assemble. The chair is just what I wanted for my mother who is finding it more difficult to get around lately. It will come in handy for doctors' appointments and visits to restaurants when a loner might not be available. I will be ordering a seat cushion and extra pouch for incidentals to hang on the back of the chair just for more convenience. Medline lives up to its reputation...designed for utility and convenience. We are both well pleased.

Highly recommend- lightweight but sturdy.

Bought this for my elderly father for doctor visits. It's lightweight so my 83 year old mom can put it in the trunk of their car. I like that the handles fold down if needed for compactness and the foot rests are also easy to remove and put back on. The size is also perfect to fit through narrower doorways through out the house. It is sturdy and with the 12 inch wheels in the back it makes it a little more maneuverable than other transport chairs in the same price range.
