- If you go to the McCormick website, you'll see that its NOT true Cinnamon, its Cassia Cinnamon. Cassia, is the most common one found/ sold in grocery stores in the United States. Most health stores, will carry the 'True' Ceylon Cinnamon. Another hint, when spotting Cinnamon in grocery stores, if its expensive, its more likely the true form. Cassia is cheaper than Ceylon.. hope this helps.by dudendeb5/25/2016Was this answer helpful? (14) (0)Was this answer helpful?
