Adequate seamless nursing sports bra-runs small

I bought these bras because I was looking for a seamless nursing bra and I really like the other bras made by this company. Perhaps I've forgotten how tight sports bras are, but these seem to run very small. I have been reliably wearing a 36C and these bras are both tight across in the cups (for anti-bounce purposes), but are also tight around and short in the straps. I have the straps extended all the way and they still leave marks on my shoulders. The straps are wider at the top of the shoulder to stay put, but the material used is scratchy and hard. They did not soften (as I'd hoped) after being washed. I still hold out hope that these will soften and loosen up a bit. I wear them under tanks and they do not show lines. The clips are easy to use with one hand, the cup folds put of the way of baby's mouth easily, and the full yoke keeps the whole thing in place. Perhaps if I was actually using these for exercise, I'd have a more favorable opinion. But for day to day use, order up a size for sure and make sure to have lots of fabric softener on hand.

    Good Option For Large Bust

I purchased these bras while 36 weeks pregnant. At that point, it's difficult to know where your size will settle, so I didn't want to make a huge investment and I wanted something with a little size forgiveness until my size stabilized and "ideal" bras were purchased. These bras meet those needs. They are reasonably supportive for wire-free and comfortable enough that they will probably serve as laundry-day bras, even once the baby is born and I have found ideally-fitting support for DDD+ breasts. As far as shaping goes, the girls aren't mashed together totally tubular like a sports bra, but, without wires, I wonder if total separation is even possible. I adjust a few times throughout the day...not horrible. For $10 a piece, it's hard to complain. I did a lot of searching and certainly didn't find this combination of low cost and sufficient support in any other product.

Ok bra for the price range

I have been to several maternity stores and bra specialty shops looking for nursing bras. Many places either didn't carry my size or had 1 option in my size. I was measured at a 38-40 E-F based on the brand each store carried. I couldn't find any that came in a cotton/spandex they all had lace or designs. I have very sensitive skin and they would rub and feel uncomfortable just trying them on I can only imagine wearing them all day. They also mostly ranged from $60 to $75 for 1 bra. I ordered this in a 42DDD to give it a try. I have had them about 2 weeks now and worn 1 everyday. They feel pretty comfortable but they do not give much separation. Also because of the larger/wider straps and higher placement of the clips the bra sticks out the top of almost any scoop neck or v-neck and I do not wear revealing clothing at all (I work at a high school). I have just gotten several tank tops to wear under almost any shirt that doesn't have a high t-shirt neck line.

    the best nursing bra

it's not a pretty, frilly bra, but it is sturdy and comfortable, which is important to a 40DD like me. It is cotton, and breathes well. Though is has no underwire, it is extremely supportive, and the full coverage ensures that my large breasts stay where they are supposed to stay. I bought two instore first to ensure fit, then bought more online since I live a ways from Walmart. The shipping was cheap, the bras were actually cheaper online than instore. It does not have a padded cup, but this is a virtue in nursing bras, since the cups have to folded down. it folds up and down easily, snaps easily, has 4 hooks. It is even comfortable to wear to bed. it's the best nursing bra I've found and I will continue to buy only these for as long as I am nursing.

    Simply excellent in every way.

Simply put: PHENOMENAL. (1) the straps are wide (THANK YOU to whomever designed this) (2) grey is excellent for hiding dried milk (3) innumerable times I have quickly unsnapped it to allow me to feed an impatient little eater (4) I have nipples that are always popped out - will simply put in a nursing pad and I can wear this under business attire (4) will be ordering additional color (black) (5) sizing: I am a full 36C and this size was right on (6) washes just fine (if you wish, hand-treat milk stains) (7) excellent support - simply excellent (8) I had my first baby last week and have had this bra on 24/7 since the day I got home from the hospital. Also this at Walmart is exceptional: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Maternity-Basic-Nursing-Tank-Perfect-for-Nursing/40886299 - it looks fantastic on (I got the grey) and it exceptionally functional (also allows you to be discrete around over zealous visitors). I have NEVER done a review until now. This is without question an amazing bra (and nursing tank) purchase. The fabric is excellent for pushing under your breast to allow the baby to feed. I do not have the slightly idea why anyone would suggest this is anything but superior quality.

    It's just OK!

I bought this bra at 23 weeks pregnant, because as we all know, our boobs grow constantly so this is kinda a transition bra for me. The cups and band fit perfectly the problem comes at the straps - they are super short... so short that the back of the band ends up being stretched 2-3 inches above where the front sits. The straps are comfortable... unless you plan on wearing the bra for 12 hours straight. The longest i can get out of this bra before the straps start to really bother me is about 7-10 hours (10 if I'm moving around, 7 if I'm sitting/laying down most of the time). Over-all, if you don't have shoulders this bra is for you, cause the cups and band are perfect... But all of the women i know have shoulders, so it will tend to be/get uncomfortable unless you're handy with a sewing machine and have straps to cut and replace the short adjustable ones on this. I'm glad this was a short term choice for me, but if i had to wear this daily/nightly while breast feeding i might just cut off the straps (and what's the point of a bra if you have 0 support?)

    Great Buy

I have purchased many of these nursing sports bras, (over the course of two years) through nursing two children and they are excellent for my needs. Easy to wash and dry. Order one size up for the best fit ie..Regualrly, I'm a 36DD but I order 38DD and its a great fit.

    Very Supportive

I finally found an affordable nursing bra that supports a 38DD. The full sling stays in place & I'm not completely falling out when I undo the flap. This bra definitely give the girls a lift & that is much needed when you're nursing. The cons are that the straps are very short & there's barely room for adjustment. This works out for me because I'm very short (5'0") but this bra definitely wouldn't work for a taller person with more space between their shoulders & bust. I've only worn the bra once but the bust seems so stretchy that it may eventually lose elasticity with wear. But with the affordable price I'd definitely buy another set if these wear out.

    Ummm...great unless you have shoulders

This bra fits great in the cups and strap area, but it has the weirdest shoulder straps. It's fully extended and just BARELY fits my shoulders, and I have freakishly small shoulders. I have no idea why they ruined such a great fitting bra with such ill fitting straps. It's almost worth it to replace the straps since I sew, but I don't have time for that ridiculousness with a newborn!

    Runs small

Other reviews are right - runs small in every way... Band is small, cups are small and straps are really short. I normally wear a 38DD with the clasp on the smallest set of hooks - this bra I needed a 40DD and the clasp is on the biggest set of hooks and the straps are set as long as possible and are barely long enough. Once I found a size to fit it's a pretty good bra - comfortable. Straps are a little stiff, but nice and wide.
