Master of the universe! Are you kidding me?!?! I am beyond excited that Mattel is bringing back the toys we grew up on and LOVE. I love that my kids can play with the same toys I enjoyed. This He-Man is built strong and has a lot of movement in his feet and hands and joints. He come with a sword, shield and ax. My boys are fighting over playing with him so it looks like we will be buying more and the whole Masters of the Universe set! Way to go Mattel! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love that Mattel is bring back retro toys!!!!!
I didn't know He-man was re-released and had to pick one up when I saw it. The figure was so great, I went back and got Skeletor and Battle Cat. I can't wait for more! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great action figure
Received free for review. My son loved this He-Man action figure. He liked the included accessories and comic book. The small accessories were easy to attach to the action figure and play with. Great toy for the age group. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great product, horrid shipping
The product itself is awesome. Lot's of articulated points, great sculpt, solid material. I'm tremendously disappointed with the shipping aspect. The figure was just loosely thrown in a package, box was destroyed. Luckily I was opening this one, or I would have returned it to the store. Walmart, if you are going to get exclusive toys, be mindful of collectors and do a better job packaging for shipping.
I got this product not long ago and it's great. It's an amazing reminder of childhood past plus the articulation is awesome. The colors are as close to the original version. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Such a great toy. The mini comic is great. Package came undamaged. So excited to have the MOTU line back!
Buying back my childhood
The figure captures the essence of the original line (vs the reboot in the early 2000's) but adds article that the original didn't have. The toy is sturdy with a good paint job. The vest now has a spot to store whatever weapon he isn't using and gone is the Prince Valiant haircut (mostly). Some joints are looser than others and it takes a little play to make him stand but I feel that I got my money's worth. I'm sure you have seen people complaining about the condition of the package. I get that. Mine was dinged up with a tear in the front middle on top of the name. The top of the cardboard was curled to fit in the box. The comic inside had perforations from the binding process across the cover. If I were buying this for a collection, I would've been upset. As it was, I opened it and played with it like 44yrs old man that I am. If you are going to open it and display, feel free to get it online. If you want it mint in box, wait to find it in a store (I believe more retailers will have it in 2021 so don't pay eBay prices).
I Almost Have The Power!
This toy line has brough back so many memories from when i was a kid. The added articulation a huge step up from the 80's line and i love the updated expressions to the characters to differentiate from the classic figures. My only two minor gripes are: 1) the packaging has been done on a really thin cardboard so it is unlikely that anyone will be able to find a truly mint cardback, and 2) The He-Man and Skeletor both come with “half” swords (split down the middle) unlike the fully sculpted wespons shown in some of the promotional photos.
Half a sword?
I was so excited to get this and opened up my Skeletor and He-Man to find that the sword is not 3D. It's flat on one side like there should be another part to connect to make a full sword. Skeletor has a “female” sword and He-Man has a “male” one so if I put them together, then I get a full sword. I think this is kinda crappy for what I paid for the figures and even then pictures show a full sword and that's not what I got.
Other than that, it's pretty nice, but that's disappointing.
A shame. I've ordered 4 times from stores for store pickup only to have my orders cancelled. I was finally able to order one direct from Walmart.com and it arrived damaged with the package cut open?
