Still a saver
As many I have enjoyed ramen noodles for years and they still do the trick. The different ways to kick up these noodles are endless. My favorite? Brick form in a ceramic bowl with black pepper, cumin, and the seasoning packet. Sometimes worsrtecschire (?) sauce splashes and/or Mexican salsa. Small strips of steak set this off too. Nuked 5 minutes on high. After they are done I add a little more water to have more broth.

FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS? LORD, HAVE MERCY!
Ramen noodle soups are delicious and convenient. Take to work for "emergency" lunch or have in the home pantry for kids' after school snacks ... HOWEVER! I WOULD DROP DEAD BEFORE PAYING $55.00! NEITHER ME NOR MY FRIENDS ARE THAT STUPID! Good Lord, have mercy, tell me this is a misprint ... ! 12 - 3oz packages for FIFTY-FIVE BUCKS? Who on earth would fork out that much money for a cup of dry noodles and what is, essentially, salt and Boullion?

Cooks in 2-3 minutes & is tasty

Yummy college food for poor students! Just add water. This is the cheapest food you can buy (per filling meal) at 18-20 cents a meal, & it tastes good! It cooks up in a microwave in 2-3 minutes, or on the stove or fire 2 minutes after the water comes to a boil. The secret is the noodles are very thin so cook up fast. Unlike a lot of soups that are mostly water & salty flavored powder, you get plenty of noodles per serving with this. Lightweight for camping & hiking trips. I'm not in college anymore but still like this for a quick hot meal or snack. The Beef flavor taste the best to me, but the chicken & oriental flavors taste good too. The recipes are endless. You can eat it as is, but is great if you add stuff to it too. Try adding cheap tomato juice or vegetable cocktail to it, & it's almost like spaghetti. Add your own spices, or a little more salt. Add meat... any kind, fish... like canned tuna or salmon. Add milk to make it richer. A little flour & salt to make it thicker & stretch it more for a bigger meal. Add an egg & water, stir up, & cook it. Add a little butter or margarine... or a splash of lemon (my favorite), yum! A cheap food that can be made amazing with a little imagination.

Great taste, cheap price.

Cheapest price around @ $2.17 per dozen Beef Soups. My local Redners grocery store charges more than $1.50 more. Excellent taste.

Good cheap eats!

I love this for a good quick lunch. To me it's great comfort food. Takes just a few minutes to make and it fills me up. I like to add hot chili sauce to zip things up a bit.

Such A Deal

Saltier than I remember & that's before adding the very salty flavoring. But, wow almost something for nothing, 12+ meals for under $3. I might send a bunch to Manila.

1. Expiration date is May 17/2017
by VWtoshop
2. Almost a year. We bought it in July, 2016 and it expires (LoL) 06/06/2017 11:11. How can they say it will expire at exactly 11:11 o'clock on June 06, 2017? I think it is a joke to have a expiration on noodles.
by Caitriana
3. They don't stay on the shelf long, so I don't worry about it. I think it is the best seller of all the flavors.
by noname0069
4. 18-months, according to the packages. But, I had some that were 5-years old & didn't notice anything terribly wrong & no ill-effects...The flavoring packet contents were sweated together & not powdery, but still tasted & dissolved the same.
by GODyesthatGOD
5. When we bought these it was about 6 months to 9 months or more out from the date we bought them.
by Caitriana
6. Hey, I just received mine, the date is; 02 16 15.
by RockForever
7. The last ones I got around Nov. 2013 have an expiration of May 2015. This is 100% dry goods, so as long as the individual packets don't leak so outside air, dampness, humidity, bugs, rodents, or other vermin can't get inside, they can last even longer. Individual servings are in cellophane wrappers which tend to break or tear easier than normal long term storage pouches do. If you're planning on long-term storing these for more than a season or more, especially during damp or humid months or climates, you should probably put the packets in a food storage bucket, can, or at least get them as air tight as possible in a good garbage bag. Store them in the coolest driest area around. Do not refrigerate or freeze because it may cause dampness... bad for dry goods. I rotate my stock of it, so the oldest box of ramen is consumed first. Inside every serving is also a sealed mylar packet of the spices, salt, & flavorings. It's dry powder... as with all dry goods, they simply won't ever spoil as long as you keep them dry & clean.

8. Not sure how to read it but says 15/9/17
by mellomama48
9. 3 months
by ClaraPearl
10. I received mine at house delivered in mail on the date of 03/16/2016 and the "best if used by" date on package is 08/20/17 The shelf life could be a long time though. The expiration date could be up to the purchaser taste of the product.
by Muahroom1
11. There's a printed expiration date on the package like many foods. Generally pasta has a long shelf life. About a year and a few months.
