    Chicken Pot Pie

We used to love these chicken pot pies. The last two times we have purchased them, we have been disappointed. The flavor is not what it used to be and the chicken is TUFF.

    To Die For

This is BY FAR THE best pot pie on the market. I have only done the microwave version, but it's to die for!

    Sad but true

It's sad when my taste buds were set on getting ready to eat a great chicken pot pie from Marie calanders when I'm sitting at the table and I split it open and nothing comes rolling out of it!!! No gravy!! NO GRAVY,!! NO GRAVY,!! I had about 3 carrots and 4 pieces of chicken. It was such a disappointment. I purchased a package of 4 so its not like I can take back the other 3 to the store n because they will not be giving my money back because I've eaten one of the 4 in the packaging. The crust was great it was nice and flaky but that was just part of the wonderful taste it had but thats all it had because it was not only a waste of money to buy it but the waste of money for gas to go buy it from the store. Double waste I'm not happy. If you add more insides to the pot pies then I'd love to rebuy them again in the future but until then I will not be and ill be telling my family and friends about my experience I've had with your product. I want to praise your your peach pie wonderful

Marie Callender's 16 Ounce Chicken Pot Pie

For years I've been enjoying the 10 ounce Chicken Pot Pie which when cooked according to the instructions in my microwave is nothing short of perfect. The crust is brown and the rest of the pie is done, and importantly, including the bottom of the shell. The quasi metallic wrapper insures a nice even browning of the pie. I just bought a box of the 16 ounce pies and cooked one according to the instructions of between 9 and 10 minutes in my microwave rated at 1000 watts. I was disappointed to discover that the bottom of the shell was still dough at the end of ten minutes but cooking it another three minutes didn't help a whole lot except it turned a few of the pieces of chicken into rock status and burned some of the crust and chicken. I was already to return the unused pies but double check the power of my microwave first. In all fairness, the oven isn't rated at the recommended 1100 watts. I will try again the next time in our second microwave rated at 1600 watts and report back.
