Perfect for exercise
I bought this and was presently surprised at the durability for the price. I put it together by myself and it took a little over an hour. Already used it and works fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product.

The box was Damaged
The box was Damaged The bike had a large dent in front, too much working to carry it back so I'll keep it as is. It did not effect the usages of it. But I will check for damage the next time before I leave the store.

Perfect for exercise

I bought this and was presently surprised at the durability for the price. I put it together by myself and it took a little over an hour. Already used it and works fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent

Exactly what I looking for. Excellent quality, easy to assemble. Smooth controls and great work out. I started to loose weight.

great bike

I put this together myself (I am 60 years old) it was not to difficult it took about 1 1/2 or 2 hours but it works great. I have back problems and need to loose weight so I needed a bike that I didn't have to worry about being to heavy for it when I got on it. it is small enough to fit in a small spot in front of my TV.

The best exercise bike I've owned

I've owned 3 or 4 exercise bikes in my lifetime. I am currently 55 yrs old, overweight with a slight heart problem. I'm 5'4" tall but my inseam is suited for someone 5' tall. I drilled an extra hole. I started with a smaller drill bit & increased the size gradually. It was a fairly slow process. I have a portable computer table that fits across the bike. So I am able to play on my laptop, read a book, or watch TV. On the first day, which was yesterday, I rode it for 5 hours. Yikes!!! The console is very inspiring...fun to see how fast I'm peddling. Hopefully, the weight will start to melt off. I LOVE it!

very pleased

My wife and I wanted to buy a recumbent bike to replace our antique sit up model. I came upon this one through a failed purchase attempt of this model on Craigslist. After a little research, we figured it would be a good one for a couple that aren't hard core exercisers. It was reasonably priced, didn't have a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles, and we could get it site to store in a matter of days. The bike is perfect for us. It was easy to put together, about a half hour. It fits our workout area well. It is comfortable and unbelievably quiet. I'm 5'10" and I pull out to the second position. My wife at 5'2" uses the closest position with a cushion behind her and says it works fine. Unlike other reviewers, I definitely feel a difference in the tension settings. My one recommendation would be concerning the hand bars. I've seen pictures with them placed in either of their 2 possible configurations, but we prefer having them mounted with the bars coming straight out from the frame with the ends angling upward. It seems a more natural position for your hands. I like that I can walk downstairs and get in a quick 30 minute pedal, especially with colder weather coming on. It also beats taking my bicycle out and fighting traffic, or having to haul it to a better riding destination. I would definitely recommend this bike to anyone just wanting a bike for casual workouts.

1. we had to drill a hole in the adjustment bar, so that the seat was closer to the pedal. Look on the adjustment bar and you see a screw. That securely locks the length , so to make it shorter we had to drill. SO NO my mom is 5'2 and could not reach the pedals, and she now has a pillow behind her back so she is more able to reach without straining
by usuziq2
2. Yes, my wife is 5'2" and has no problem riding the bike.
by GoForMiles
3. Hmmm I have thought about your question. The truth is, the back leans back. I am 5'7 and it fits perfect, but I had to adjust it to closer. The truth is, if she has short legs, I dont think she'll be able to reach...however it adjust far up and back. Sorry I couldnt be more helpful, im just not sure!
by Lollie007
4. I'm the same height and I have no problems with reaching the pedals. I set the seat to the furthest hole in the slider and it's very comfortable.
by SouthJrzyGrl
5. No, she won't be able to. Anyone shorter than 5'4" will have problems reaching the pedals, based on what I've seen with my machine.
by JonExercise
6. I am 5' and can reach the peddles. Or you could put a cushion behind you.
by ProudArmyMomToo
7. YES I HAVE VERY SHORT LEGS AND IT IS FINE FOR ME. IT IS A STEP THROUGH CONSTRUCTION ALSO SO SAFE.
by BSSR
8. I recently bought this item during the holidays. I was also concerned about reaching the pedals. I am 5'1 and have absolutely no issue with reaching the pedals and being comfortable. I think some of the variances about the pedal issue is due to people of the same height having longer or shorter legs then another of the same height. So it really depends on the individual.
by BeachGirl
9. it is adjustable, she should be fine
by mommatjones
10. I am 5'2" and use the bike easily with no problems. My legs very comfortably fit the pedals. I wear sneaker-type tennis shoes while using. Very comfortable bike and I use often.
by RecoveringFromKneeSurgery
11. It has an adjustable center and it coud go in enough for a person of 5',1" stature, but you may have to stretch a little.
by Jspence59
12. Yes. I am also 5'1" and have no issues with that.
by tyn11
13. She should be able to,I have 1/2 inch on her and I can reach just put in closest hole toward the front of the bike!!
by pinkfrogreading
14. yes
by POTRA
15. my wife is 5'2" in shoes and with the machine in its shortest stock setting my wife had an issue with chafing on her rear end from stretching to reach the peddles made painful sores i had to shove the machine as close together as it would go and drill a new hole for the locking bolt.
by justme3506
16. She will not be able to reach ... I promise that... haha I am 5'6 and I struggle....

1. Yes, there are three settings on the pedal straps. You just pick out the setting that would fit your foot best and set it to that.
by Mangham1992
2. I thought they were pretty easy to adjust.
by ForAPurpose
3. Yes, there are several strap settings to adjust to your foot size.
by GoForMiles
4. no they aren't. but the truth is, they do hold your feet well and are sturdy. They do not adjust easily, but honestly do think that will trouble you on this bike.
by Lollie007
5. No, I have found that the pedal straps are not easily adjustable.
by Sunne2Day
6. I found that to be a little difficult. I don't have a lot of strength in my hands. I had my husband do it for me.
by ProudArmyMomToo
7. VERY EASY JUST PUT THE SHOE YOU ARE USUALLY GOING TO WEAR ON THE PEDDLE & ADJUST EACH STRAP REALLY EASY.
by mamiej
8. not really. I ended up taking mine off entirely. They do adjust, but getting the rubber around the knob thingy that holds them in place takes some upper body strength! I think if you get them in place the way you want and then leave them alone, you'd be fine.
by FtWayneShopper
9. The pedal straps are the only part of this bike that I have difficulty with. They are very difficult for me to adjust so I usually leave them off. If you need to use them to keep your feet attached then you may have a problem. I would contact Marcy to see if they can suggest anything.
by jne1253
10. THE STRAPS ARE TOO TIGHT EVEN FOR THE SMALLER FEET I ENDED UP REMOVING THEM...in other words the straps are bad
by yacoub
11. With continued use, the material that the pedal straps are made of will have more give making adjustments easier. At first they are a little stiff, but adjusting is simple.
by AnotherGail
12. YES,BUT I ALSO HAD A STROKE AND WAS SCARED I WOULD GET MY FOOT HUNG UP IN STRAPS SO I TOOK OFF,BUT BEFORE I TOOK OFF THEY COULD BE ADJUSTED,I CAN ALWAYS PUT THEM BACK ON AS WELL. IT'S A GREAT BIKE.
by curtiswife
13. They are not easy to adjust. I ended up just removing the straps.

4. yes very good machine for 350 lbs. man.
by lazyj717
5. No, I don't think so. I believe the bike's realistic limit is around 300lbs. You may want to look for something more larger and sturdy.
by JonExercise
6. Maximum weight according to the paperwork is 300 lbs.
by ProudArmyMomToo
7. N0. I way 286lb. I feel as tho I just made it.
by Marchett
8. NO only rated to 250!!
by BByrd
9. 300 pounds is max.
by Shabala
10. The specs say this bike is rated for 300 lbs. At 275 I feel it is just right. It does move slightly. I would say purchase a sturdier bike if over 300 lbs.
by ConstantlySearchingXXXXX
11. I believe so,The weight limit is 300 but my son is 310 pounds and has no problems.it's very sturdy.
by bookhog
