The Best $329 Android Tablet Available

This tablet is great for the price. The battery life is exceptional: it should last the average user a few days on average. It feels good in the hands. Don't be deceived by the 1.6 GHz clock speed. Clock speeds vary across brands, and I only managed to stall this machine once. It has plenty of power for normal use, a great screen, good grip, ect. Camera is so-so, but what did you expect from a tablet? Also: Asus' modifications to the Android OS are actually positive for once, verses the skins applied by HTC, Motorola's Droid line, and Samsung a lot of times which hinder rather than help the user experience. I can't really find anything to say negatively about this, other than that you should check your headphone jack. The one that I used created a little bit of static. Not a big deal, but it is something you should check. Overall, one of the best Android tablets that I've ever used. Asus and Intel outdid themselves this time. If you want an android tablet, get this one. You won't be disappointed. If you prefer Windows 8 but are okay with a lower resolution in exchange for more processor power, check out the Asus Transformer Book T100 first at the following address: http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_Transformer_Book_T100/

awsome tablet

Very happy with t.his tablet. Had a 7" generic tablet before, and I can't believe how fast this one is. Everything is positive about this, no negatives. Recommend this tablet to anyone

Asus memo Fhd 10 great first tablet.

The only reason i gave it 4 stars was due to the fact the only thing i didn't like about it was the Hdmi port , it's a little too loose when you plug the adapter to it, besides that I love this tablet works well, didn't take long to get used to the Android system. Very bright screen, definitely HD guality. Takes good pictures for a 5.0 megapixel camera, clear crisp videos also, the speakers work very well for a tablet. The bluetooth feature is a plus also, very fast on detecting devices. WiFi resption is great, battery life is ok if you are not playing games or watching movies this tends to drain the batterry.Very light weight, again love it, if you can find it online buy it,it's much cheaper on line,(got mine for about 268.00 online). The speed on the processor runs pretty fast for a tablet. Don't settle for a cheap tablet, this one is the way to go.

It is a good tablet

It is a good tablet! I started with this statement because I bought from SAM'S the previous version of ASUS MeMO Pad (16GB), with quad core processor, and I had the chance to test both in parallel. The new one is more powerful far away. The colors and image clarity are amazing, and probably the processor and installed 2GB RAM is making the difference. Over all, the quality is very good. No issues so far. The battery has an improved performance (compering with the former version table). The system makes the software and firmware updates regularly and automatic. I do not see to many tablets (at the same price) to over class this tablet in many respects. As a concern, the power “on” button has to be pressed more that 5-8 seconds as the tablet to start. For shutdown it is very smooth and responsive. There is a big difference between using the tablet on web vs. games and watching movies on it (9 hours easily on web vs. no more than 5.5 to 6 hours of continue game playing).

Top 10 Review of ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10 Tablet

I have had this Tablet for about a month now and still find great new items on this Tablet that I don't have on any of my other Tablets (and I have a bunch of them). Many Parental control abilities come with this Tablet (Android 4.3 now has multiple users and profiles and this tablet has a App Locker application). As delivered, the screen is not outstanding. It is too warm for me and too dull. But raise the brightness and change the screen towards cool and tap on vivid in the included ASUS Splendid App and it comes very close to matching the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (I think it is the best of all my tablets). If your tastes are not like mine, the ASUS Splendid App should allow you to change the screen to suit you. This tablet is light, thin, and fast (Quadrant Standard score of 6,000). It has really good GPS Hardware and a HDMI out port. It auto updated to Android 4.3 about a week after I got it. There are many ways to control battery usage in settings. My only gripe (same for most electronics today) is the very poor printed user manual. It is only 10 pages and just covers setup and charging. There is a very good on-line PDF Operating Manual on the ASUS Web site but you will have to really search around to find it. Their Website is very poor. I recommend this tablet. It is very good for the price and in my opinion is equal to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I have both and use them equally. I have run Battery test on most of my tablets and use "Battery HD" from the Google Play Store. Following are the run times for this tablet: Screen brightness set to about 60% Music Playback = 17 hrs, 43 min. Video Playback = 8 hrs, 20 min. Internet Browsing = 10 hrs, 0 min. Talk Time (VoIP) = 8 hrs, 11 min. Reading = 11 hrs, 17 min.

Love It!!!

Does everything you need right out of the box. Crystal clear screen with auto sunlight adjustment, no lagging when watching videos or movies, super responsive touch system, never have to tap twice. So many more good things just not enough room!! If you are looking for a tablet in the mid range price wise with all the good stuff of the high end ones, this is a definite BUY <3

Great tablet!

Since the Apple iPad came out I was a skeptic on the whole tablet thing but I thought since my high school got WiFi I thought it would be a good idea to use this instead of using multiple notebooks and instead of caring around my heavy laptop that possibly could get stolen. I looked at multiple tablets from the Nextbook to the iPad Mini.... I asked for the Trio Stealth for Christmas sadly I received it and it didn't hold a charge for at least a hour so I went and returned it the next day... that same day I picked up the Asus MeMO Pad tablet since then it has worked very well and I was surprised this tablet came with a cheap stand in the box. Over all there has been little to no lag on the device but I've noticed it really is not the type of tablet for music with headphones they sort of have a limit and even warn you not to turn it up all the time but I ignore it... YOLO... Just kidding. Pros ✔ Great Battery Life! It holds a charge very well over night on standby! ✔ Comes with a stand in the box. ✔ Screen is very clear! Cons ✖ Has headphone restrictions for your safety... Meh. ✖ Could have gotten it up to $100 cheaper at Amazon but needed it quickly. ✖ Very terrible glare. Over all I think it is a wonderful tablet and it is very easy to understand! I recommend it to everyone before they take a look at the Surface or the iPad... This truly is one of the best tablets and shouldn't be called out because of its name.

Not what I hoped for!

I was looking for an iPad killer and I thought I had found it. The screen on this tablet is beautiful and it was lighter than the current iPad when I purchased it in Aug of last year. I bought this one because it had everything I wanted in a tablet for a lot less than the iPad and I had had good experience with ASUS products. I was very happy with my purchase! About 2 months after my purchase the problems began; 1) It would randomly reboot. 2) I got an error message "DHClient has stopped working" 3) I tried 3 browsers and they all would lock up. I had issues with pages scrolling themselves and zooming in and out on their own. Sometimes they would zoom in and a blue border appeared around the screen. I had to close and reopen the browser. Other times pages would not scroll at all or would scroll super fast. It was too late to return it so I was stuck. I contacted ASUS support twice about these issues and they were nice. They would get the tablet "fixed" and two hours later I had the same problems. I hoped for more but I guess I got what I paid for.

Mostly like it.

I do enjoy my Asus memo pad most of the time. There are times it seems slower than normal when downloading apps but then it catches up. I have not had the chance to use the camera or notes on this tablet yet, so I can't say anything about that. I am not that pleased with the battery life, though. Wish I didn't have to recharge so often. It's not like I use it all day, only a few hours. But, I just recharge for 3 or 4 hours and get back on. In the scheme of things, though, it's a very good tablet if you just want to play on it. I wouldn't get it for more personal or business things though. I would recommend this tablet.

won't charge

daughter bought this in sept.2013. had trouble with the place you hook the adapter in it to charge. sent it back to the manufacture they refusing to fix it. wanting her to pay for it. it is under a year warranty. thought if it was still under warranty they should repair it.. would appreciate any help.
