I grew up on this stuff, every Sunday at grandma's for her homemade chicken soup. And it wouldn't have been complete without the yummy little mandlen floating in it, soaking up the flavor. So much better than mere crackers. I haven't been able to find them in any store for years, so I was thrilled to find them online. And they didn't disappoint, they're just as delightfully misshapen, crispy, absorbent, and delicious as I remember from all those years ago. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go dig out grandma's recipe and put a pot on the stove so I can enjoy my Manischewitz Mandlen for Soup!
