This is a huge improvement over the flimsy white wrap around rod I had in my room before this. Affordable and easy to install. Took me less than 5 minutes to put up.

Used these for valances, so I had no issues with weight or height of fabric curtains.

Good quality, good looking and very sturdy, I like the way it allows the curtain to wrap around the corner. Would be great for heavy material (such as the ones with insulated backing). It comes with a spacer for stability in the middle, so you plant lovers out there would be able to hang one on the rod and not worry about the rod folding. I must admit that even though I had to return mine (two inches too short for length of my window), I would've written this anyway. FYI- This rod set requires a powered screwdriver, due to the design and for maximum stability. The brackets they hang on need to be anchored securely, it does come with the extra screw protectors in case there is no stud in wall. Hence powered screwdriver.

My drapes are long and heavy. This is a metal rod, not as big in diameter as I would like but OK and better than anything else I found. I purchased a center brace separately that should keep the rod in place. The previous rod I bought from Kohls turned out to be plastic and broke almost immediately. The description didn't say plastic. It was delivered a week earlier than promised.

  • A. It's the easiest removal I've ever done. Just lift over the middle support bracket and pull forward. They slide right out from the horizontal side bracket posts and slide right back on again to re-hang. Believe me it's easy. I had to take the curtains that I was making down 3 times while I was sewing to take measurments.

  • A. The wall bracket is attached to the wall and it has a short rod with screw-holes sticking out of it. The rod itself slides onto the bracket and it attached with a small screw. The only thing I would be REALLY careful of is not losing that screw, I don't know how I'd find another that fits. I bought these in two sizes, the larger one has a support bracket.

  • A. The rod is attached to the bracket by just pushing it into it and yes it does come with a support bracket. I hope this helps

  • A. The rod slips into a little projection from the bracket and is screwed in. If there was a middle support bracket, we aren't using it. It's a pretty sturdy rod. :)

  • A. You have to screw in the end caps to the wall, and one end slides out of the cap screwed in the wall, and they separate in the middle. There is no middle support bracket, personally I wouldn't use this on a window over 64 inches anyways, metal is too thin.

  • A. There is a small thumb screw that anchors the rod to the bracket on the inside of the rod just before it bends to 'wrap around' the window. If you enlarge the picture you can just barely see the edge of the thumbscrew protruding between the bend in rod and where the bracket is attached on the wall. The rod slides onto the bracket which is then secured together with the thumbscrew. I love this product!

  • A. They are 2 parts and yes each are packed - like in the sizes you read they go from _to_ inches their 'EXTENDABLE'. But be aware, unlike the 1 piece type of Rod the curtain will kinda get hung up when your pulling your curtain across where the rods meet! REMEDY THAT WORKS FOR ME:I use my hubby's black electrical tape to wrap that spot ....no more snagging and just about unnoticeable. Still this a minor issue compared to the lack of protection from heat and cold drafts along with light that curtains hung on those regular rods allow, because they don't wrap around your windows, like these ones do. Since,I've hung these rods up my Hubby's complains ,"can't you do something about those curtains!", when the sun shines enters the room along the side curtain-like when he watching TV or getting his ZZZ's, well those complains have(blissfully) become a thing of the past! So,2 thumbs up for these RODs!!!!

  • A. It is two pieces. One is a bit smaller than the other. They slide together, and that is how you adjust the length. So the smaller one slides into the larger one. It is such a small difference that you do not notice.

  • A. No, one rod per package. I got the 24"-48" rod "set" and the larger 48" - ???96"??? rod "set". Each size came with 2 mounting brackets, 2 pieces of rod that slid together to adjust to size needed and all hanging hardware. The 48"+ set came with a middle support bracket and hardware to hang it as well. Hope this helps!

  • A. One rod slides inside the other rod so it can be extended. I believe they call it a set because all of the parts to install it are included so the package you receive is complete with nothing further needed.
