I bought 2 of these things a few years back. I thought, $9, why not? Well so far these tables have easily been through a lifetime of wear and tear. I've spilled stuff all over them (and often times just left it there for hours, if not days, without cleaning it up), used them as counter tops, had them hold heavy appliances, handled them without care, and have even sat on them many times. I've even thrown one of them across the room (in a fit of rage, you know), and it survived. Impressive, not many products survive that, in my personal experience. They're a bit wobbly now but both are totally functional and look fine. As with everything Walmart manufacturers with their own brand names, it's got a very intelligent, efficient, and effective design. It probably couldn't be made much better with the amount of wood used, and I'm sure it's gotten some input from engineers. There are supports at just the right places, of minimal effective sizes. And they are apparently effective. I'm thoroughly impressed, as I thought one of these would have at least broken/snapped with all I've put them through. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone.
