Worth the money.....

I got this for my wife to put in the yard with her fairy garden. I was expecting something small. This isn't small in the least. It's 11 inches tall and 5 inches square. The good parts are as follows. It has a solar collector on top, but runs off a AA battery. The light flickers like a candle inside. It also has a dusk to dawn feature, that turns it off and on when daylight comes and goes. It's plastic, but is well constructed and does not feel cheap in the least. The battery, as well as the on/off switch are located on the bottom under a large screw lock keeper. In short, it you are looking for a yard decoration that's sure to please, this will not disappoint. It's something you'll want to look out at for a long time to come.

Perfect Lantern for a dark night on the patio.

I love this Lantern. We like to hang out on the patio at night and this lantern just sets the mood perfectly. It's not to bright and doesn't distract from the evening calm. If you look at it from a distance you would never know it is not a real candle. Big bonus for me is the fact that it is solar charged.

A Light to my path

The lantern neasures approximately 5 1/2" wide x 13 1/2" high to the top of the carrying handle and made of plastic--(brushed broze) color with frosted white window panels. The bottom of the lantern has a rounded compartment that when turned one way allows access to insert one AA battery into its own compartment, as well as flick the on/off switch into position, and when turned opposite locks into place. On top is a solar panel that when exposed to light, senses when it's dark and it therefore allows the flickering light to light up inside. It really gives a similar look and feel of an authentic lantern. It is lightweight and easy to transport. I have been using it in my bedroom and it adds a calming, flickering light for me. This lantern looks and functions so realistically, is lightweight, and truly adds style and functionality to any area/room.
