These burner covers are nice looking and contrary to what a few reviewers have said, they are heavy-duty enough to allow the cook to take a heavy pot off of a burner and put it on top of one of the burner covers.

CLASSY- This polished, stainless steel finish will give your stovetop a high end look.
The burner covers are nice looking and sturdy enough to withstand having pots and pans placed on them. The actual diameters where the cover contacts the stove surface are, 10.5 inches for the large ones and 8.25 inches for the small. The small ones fit my smaller burners perfectly but the large front burner is too close to the small back burner so the large cover is too big for my small apartment size stove. I'm knocking off a star because the size description is misleading.
Good-looking, apparently good quality, excellent price, but I couldn't use these burner covers. The online description did not specify the dimensions. Other online shoppers had used the Ask a Question feature trying to find out the sizes, and some asked other questions; there were no answers entered by anyone for anything asked. I ordered the set for pickup at store, so there was no shipping charge. Took home, tried on stove, didn't fit, returned for credit. Similar problem with a different set found on store shelf - dimensions not shown on package. Bought, took home, tried on stove, didn't fit. Returned both sets the same day. (Now I apologize for not being able to tell you the dimensions. Each set has 2 smaller and 2 larger covers that would probably fit burners on gas stoves new enough to have automatic pilot light.)
