I was really pleased with how deep these containers are! They are standard in the other dimensions for meal prep containers, but the depth is more. Which is great for larger items like a piece of chicken! No more smashing or cutting items to fit when the lid is on! Yay!

Awecome Food Storage Containers
These are like the containers that you get your Chinese take-out food in, except the bottom part is black instead of white. They are BPA free. They came in a package of 15 containers and 15 lids – for a total of 30 pieces. They are stackable and reusable. “Great for meal planning & portion control”. Each container holds 4 cups (1 litre). They are “dishwasher safe – top rack only” and microwave and freezer safe”. They do suggest that you remove the lid for reheating and defrosting in the microwave. I have to admit that I have left the lid on top, but with it turned slightly so that there is venting on the corners and it hasn’t hurt them in any way. They are “made in China”, but distributed by Wal-Mart Stores. I love these containers and my sister and I always joked that the containers from our favorite Chinese food place are “our best china”. All joking aside, I highly recommend these containers. They are really versatile with the amount and kinds of food that you can store in them and reheat in the microwave. I will repeat, microwave ONLY, not for the stove top or in the oven. They are plastic!
Okay! Here is the deal. You have a friend over and you want to send something home with them. These are for you!. You have some leftovers to put in the fridge, and you hate to use plastic bags. These are for you. You are taking your lunch to work, These are for you. You don't have unlimited cupboard space for irregular plastic containers. THESE ARE FOR YOU.
Nice size container
These containers are very sturdy. I think they hold the perfect amount of either leftovers or a perfect size to freeze or refrigerate the portion size for a meal. The lids fit very snug and tight which will help preserve food in the fridge or freezer. I have microwaved in these without the lid on as the directions say and it doesn't not melt or affect the food in the container . I also like the fact that it has a tab to lift up the lid makes it a lot easier
The containers are dishwasher and microwave safe. Although, we did a water leak test to see if they would leak. The containers did leak out of the corners, but not out of the straight sides. I will just have to be careful what types of food I put in them. They are a good size and they have enough height to them.
Great meal prep containers
I really like these containers. They make meal prepping a little easier and convenient. It comes with 15 container sets (container and lid). So that's enough for 2 weeks worth of meals (I only use them for dinner). Each container holds about 4 cups. I like that these containers are stackable, so its easy to to keep the fridge organized. I do freeze them and i've had no problem with that. The night before I usually take one of these meal prepped containers out of the freezer, place it in the fridge to defrost, then heat it up when its time to eat. The containers are microwaveable so i havent had any problems with them warping or damaging so far. They do get less sturdy after being heated, but that has been with every single meal prep containers i've ever used. Overall you cant go wrong with these containers and i would recommend them to anyone.
