I just bought this product in the store, but it didn't come with the "bonus" bulbs. The price was $9.97 in my local store. So unless you plan on spending $20 for 2 CFL light bulbs, I would buy it in the store and buy the bulbs separately. Inexpensive lamp that does what it is supposed to. easy to assemble.

Just what I needed.
I wanted two matching floor lamps on either end of my couch so I tried these first. I was not disappointed. Simple but nice and very bright. Provides plenty of light for the room. The enclosed bulb on one of them was broken. thus 4 stars under expectations but that's the only complaint I have. I do like them a lot and if the need every arose would buy another one.
A very nice floor lamp
The floor lamp that we ordered from Wall Mart, was very nice and it looks so good between our chairs. The top light is so beneficial without turning on several lamps, and the single light is just right for reading,, which is what we needed. Thank you
Just what I wanted
Not a bad looking lamp. easy to assemble. Sturdy metal pole & base. Lower reading lamp ideal for reading or to light computer keyboard (which is why I wanted this style lamp). Top lamp lights a small room nicely. Not 5 star overall because light switches seem to be a little flimsey, but no problems so far. An excellent value.
Took Forever To Get
The product for the price is great. However, it took WalMart over 15 days to get it to me. If you are in a hurry DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT Site-to-Store.
I LIKE IT. ASSEMBLY DIFFICULT & CFL BULB VISIBLE.
Assembly takes a little know how: On the upper socket (3-way socket for ceiling lamp), you need to remove the knob, remove the plastic retainer that holds the shade, and remove the plastic retainer that holds the metal socket in place. Then screw the 3-way section onto the reading lamp section. Turn the upper section, not the reading lamp section, and make sure the upper 3-way socket does NOT turn as you assemble the two sections. If you don't do this, the wiring between the upper 3-way socket and the reading lamp will become twisted, putting extreme stress on the 3-way socket. (Instead of disassebling the socket so it can turn, you could turn the upper section in the opposite direction about 6 or 7 turns to twist the wiring. When the upper section is then screwed onto the reading lamp section, it would untwist the wiring.) After you assemble those first two sections, you can put the upper 3-way socket and knob back together without any stress. You need two pairs of pliers to tighten the sections. If you don't, the lamp will be wobbly. I used two small pieces of rubber hose, slit so they would slip over the pole sections. The rubber protected the pole sections from being scratched by the pliers. The knob on the upper 3-way socket is a little difficult to turn. It is a small diameter metal rod, so it takes a firm grip to turn it. This would be a problem for some people. To make it easy to turn, I slipped a short piece of rubber hose on it. The 3-way CFL bulb is much taller than an incandescent bulb. If you are more than 4 feet tall, you will see the top of the CFL bulb, which I don't like. Many floor lamps have this problem, so this is not a surprise. The plastic shades look very nice, as if they were glass. Plastic shades are OK for CFL bulbs. I BELIEVE the heat from incandescent bulbs would eventually ruin the shades, especially on the reading lamp. I give it 4 stars due to the unforeseen difficulty of assembly, the need for tools, and the difficulty of the small knob on the 3-way socket. It looks nice, and is sturdy enough. It is well packaged, so it is unlikely to get damaged in shipping. I like it, and bought another one.
I gues the old saying about you get what you pay for is correct. Make no mistake, this lamp is just what I needed but is not very attractive. It is a three way lighting system with an additional low wattage light a little further down. It was not difficult to put together except for the pole did not seem to be threaded exactly right. It is not realy sturdy, but stands alone.
Need Lamp without bulbs
The product is not too sturdy, but what more would you expect at this price. They used to sell this without the bulbs for under $10. So I am not sure why they say they included bonus bulbs. What is the bonus if they are charging $17 for 2 bulbs? Besides they dont say on the box what kind of CFL bulbs are included - fluoroscent (day-light) or regular (the one that has yellowish light). If anyone knows, can you please share the information? I am looking to buy one more now, but I don't want their bulbs if they are the regular (yellowish light) bulbs. It was better before when I could choose the bulbs I wanted separately.
When I first put together the floor lamp, I was encouraged by the design & the ease of assembly. However, the 3-way switch for the upper light has already begun to malfunction. My 89-year-old mother resorted to plugging & unplugging the light from the socket to turn it on & off, until with some wiggling of the switch, I was able to make it functional again. I'm not sure how long our luck will last.
Biggest Piece of JUNK!!
i have 3 of these lamps, all 3 are not sturdy,do not stand up straight, and the knob to turn the lamp on: it has broken off on 2 of them, and the other 1 it is so hard to turn that i just unplug them when i am not using them. I wish it were still in the return policy. I would not advise anybody to buy this junk!
