Love These
The frames actually have a black plastic frame around them, about 5/8" on the sides and less than 1/8" around the front; the picture didn't show this and I almost didn't buy them, because in the picture they just look like pieces of glass or plastic. I've added a (not very good) photo to show the frame. I'm just in awe of whoever designed these, they're so clever. It took me a time or two to really get the hang of popping the glass out and putting it back in, and inserting the little stand on the back; now they're easy to use and I'm going to buy more. As others have noted, they aren't quite 5" x 7", they're more like 4-15/16" x 6-15/16", which is OK for me because I have a good paper cutter and I just trim my photos.

Horrible to put stand on!
I bought these and a bunch of prints of our 26 year old daughter that died last month of Sudden Cardiac Death. When we tried to put the stands on them, they were close to impossible to do. It took my son in law about an hour to put the all on and all of the pictures sit oddly in her memorial cabinet. They wobble around and don't sit flat at all. I would NOT suggest buying these just because you want 5x7's in bulk. =\

Love them & They are cheap

Very good price.... I have had used these frames for around 10 years now.... I have so many pictures on my wall it just makes it look good when all the frames are the same when you have so many..... Because it is not about the frame it is about the picture in the frame..... I am redoing my wall now because I have 2 years of new photos that I have not added to the wall yet, because I need to change all the photos around to fit more up there..... The frames are so light I use the long thumbtacks to hang them up....... Makes for easy moves and changes....... The photos I added to my review you can see some of the frames I have up... I have a total of 30 of the 8x10 up and 6 of the 5x7, and 10 of the 4x6, 1 of the 10x16 and 1 of the 20x20..... I am adding 20 more of the 8x10, and 6 of the 5x7 by the end of this month... I am addicted taking photos LOL ;~) some say I have 2 many.... I say you can never have 2 many pictures of the ones you love!!!!!!!! ;~)

best I've found for the price

I do a lot of photography and this frame is basically rimless which allows the pictures to be totally viewed. They are super easy to use and have a glass front that pops in and out. You can hang them with a pushpin because they are so light or use the snap off stand in the back. I only use these frames when I present photos as gifts or for gallery display

Simple and practical

I was looking for something like this (a frame where tou focus on the picturw not the frame) on stores but I never found it. Always the huge bling-bling frames . I needed more than 10 and buying individually was too expensive. Shopping on my Walmart store I found this style of frame simple and practical . I went back home and surf on walmart.com and they have it on sets of 12 at a reasonable price. Good deal!☆☆☆☆☆

Simple basic frames

Surprisingly the pictures are front-loaded, but easy to use. I'm using these to display 5x7 school pictures in a collage-like setting. They are perfect for this use.

Clean and neat frames

I especially like the neat-clean lines of the frame without the embellished plastic frame around the picture. You can set up more grand children pictures on top of your chest of drawers side-by-side, without the extra plastic around the frames.

Love these frames!

I wanted to change out all the picture frames in a room. I had used a few of this style, though smaller, for a different project. They're easy to use but my favorite thing is that there's such a small edge. The frames don't cover any of the picture-which is just what I was wanting. They are also very affordable.

Simple Frame, Good Value for the money

This is nothing fancy but since I have too many people to give photos to in my church, I think this is a good value for the money. This front loading style framing is new to me, so it was tricky at first. But of course, there's an instruction that came with it along with the how-to-use the back easel. Since Walmart didn't have any photos of the product, I thought I'd upload some for future buyers. The frame is plastic and black in color plus glass front. Hope this helps! :)

Outstanding for the money

These frames are outstanding for the money. Yes, they are inexpensive, but as a grouping they look terrific, because the frame is not the center of attention. The only negative is the support arm to hold it up,. In landscape mode, it works well, but in portrait it is not to stable, and some times it need a couple dots of crazy glue.

good for the price

the picture frames are cheap but for 12 of them it's worth it. the tabs to stand up the pictures though are kind of difficult to put in and have them stay in but I finally got them in and didn't touch them for fear they would fall down. they served the purpose I needed them for but it was for just a one time project
