    So far so Good

Very high speed. Good for the price. It does look like something that could rust easily but is to be expected as it is extremely cheap. Honestly, you're getting more for the price in my personal opinion

    Lowest Speed is too fast!

To be honest, I purchased this item solely based on the price. I needed a hand mixer, and figured there was no way I could get one I wouldn't be pleased with. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The lowest speed is so fast that it immediately begins splashing whatever the contents are everywhere. I tried to bake banana bread, and needless to say, flour and mashed bananas were everywhere. It's strange because I have never experienced a handheld mixer with such a high lowest speed. You can only imagine how fast the fastest speed is. Also, the item began rusting fairly quickly. In fact, after my first use. I washed the detachable mixers and left them to dry. Parts of them were rusted by the following day. I'm not sure how. I missed my return window on this. So unfortunately I'm stuck with the item. But, I would not recommend. Not good for the price. You'll just have to purchase another.

    Does the job

I use this when I need to whip simple things. I'm not a huge baker but when I do, I use it to mix wet ingredients, whip egg whites or heavy cream. It does the job for me. I never experienced any mess. The speed settings aren't the greatest but are okay. It's loud even on the low setting, but doesn't bother me. Can't complain for the price it's pretty solid. The whisks detach and can be snapped to the hand mixer for easy storage. If you're a heavy baker or have used a high end mixer this may not be for you. Go spend a little more for something high end. This is more for the average non-fussy user.

Cheap isn't Always a Bad Thing!

It was great! I made a gooey butter cake with it, and it turned out amazing!!

Is it a hand mixer, or is it a jet?

On the lowest speed, it sounded like a jet engine readying for takeoff. The pitch just kept getting higher and louder. I couldn't get it back to the store fast enough, although I probably could have just let it loose outside and it would have jetted itself back to the store.

    Used with Deep Mixing Bowl

The speed is great! I can whip up anything real quick.

For this price, you can't go wrong!

Needed an extra mixer over the holiday and found this one for seven bucks, wow! What is there to complain about, besides nothing?! This one works fine (used to mash potatoes, blend gravies, mix some cake mixes/batters, blend cream cheeses and made whipped toppings). No problems, still works great and gets the job done for that type of usage. I'm satisfied!

    Not worth it

The lowest speed is waaaaay too fast. Spend a little extra and get an actual speeded mixer or you'll be splashing anything you mix all over your kitchen and yourself.

Extreme speed and a stuck switch

You can't go wrong with the price, that's a plus. But I have also experienced what others have, it's extremely fast. That's not even my issue, my issue is I've literally used this 3 times since I got it last week and the switch is stuck. Once it's on it has no problem switching between the 5 speeds. I tried putting some veg oil on the switch to see if that helps loosen it, we shall see. I'll probably have to buy another brand though. I bake a lot and really don't feel like dealing with this problem every other day. You get what you pay for

Spend the extra money for another mixer

Ours only has two speeds... fast and faster.
