Works for Carpet Too!

I will make this easier for you, than it was for me. Make sure after you cut it to your desired size or sizes, you first start the process of peeling both the clear and the yellow sides of the backing on the front and the back of the product. The clear is harder to peel, as it has stronger adhesive. The clear side is the side I adhered to the rug backing. I just placed square cut corner pieces, as well as longer, thin cut pieces for the four sides of my 5' x 8' shag area rug to keep it from skating or slipping on the carpet it is placed on. I took a rolling pin around the edge to give it a good bond. It seems like this will solve the issue. Don't bash the product, unless you know for sure you have it installed it correctly and both adhesive sides are exposed correctly. I have been looking for a solution to my rug problem, and I think I have finally solved it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars vs. 5 is the fact there were no package instructions, and product backings were extremely difficult and time consuming to remove.
