It's not what you SAY, it's what you HEAR! Put your eyes and ears to the test as you decipher funny puzzles made up of pictures and words. First, figure out the word that each picture represents, then read the entire puzzle out loud-you might be reading something like BALL STUNK LAMP SHOUTER. Can you hear what you're saying? Repeat the phrase a few more times and you're sure to guess Boston Clam Chowder. The first team to solve five puzzles wins the game. For 2 teams.

Great Game For Family Game Night!

Gave this to my 12 yr old son as a stocking stuffer. My 7 yr old can play too when we play teams, but otherwise it is above her skill level. I love the big Mad Gab game, my friends have it, but I didn't want to spend that much money in case my son didn't like it. The pics on the cards help to figure out the word, and there are 2 skill levels that make it easier for him and his friends to guess the words. We've only played it 3-4 times since Christmas, but it is a good one to keep in the car for when we travel 2 hours to visit the Grandparents.

Inappropriate for children

My 7 yr old son got this in a two pack with the Wack A Mole card game for a birthday gift. So you would think the Mad Gab would be ok for children... but I went to open up the Mad Gab game and looked at the cards before I even opened them out of the plastic and I saw the words, "S-e-x in the City" as one of the phrases you have to guess.I immediately looked at the box and saw this game was for ages 10 and up... why would they package it with a game for much younger children? So just a heads up for the more conservative among us. On the back of the above card was "Dirty Dancing" also... I wouldn't want my older children trying to guess these but definitely not appropriate for the younger crowd at all. So you might want to take this card out of it... plus after looking at the phrases you have to guess, it really is aimed towards adults- most older children/teenagers are not going to know the names of these movies, songs, etc that they have you trying to guess.
