In this book about forests you will read a lot of information presented in brief paragraphs. Each page gives information about a different topic. Forests are not just trees and children will find out how much more there is to forests. From types of trees, other plants, animals, fungus, as well as types of forests around the world there is a lot to learn. The pictures a wonderful with small drawings of animals and plants added to them. Each topic also has a couple of fun facts and then a little question type activity at the bottom of the page. This would be a great book to use when teaching about different habitats and animals. There is even a small section about the changes in the forest during the various seasons. A good little book to use in a science lesson.I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
