Sub $400 laptop? Worth it!
There are already a large number of reviews out there about this notebook, and they mostly led me to the purchase of it for my daughter. Firsthand impressions for what I bought were a solid 10. It was on sale for $289. Initial setup was simple, even if the moose cursor didn't work during setup. It's quick. 14 seconds from power on to lock screen. Windows Hello facial recognition is simple and very responsive to setup. So what did I do? I bought another one for me. This time the price had gone up to $349. I still think it was worth the price hike. Upgrading the RAM was simple, though some of the six case screws were a little tough to remove. I installed an eight gigabyte DDR4 SODIMM. This increased the system memory to 6.3 GB with just over 2GB for the integrated graphics. I recommend a 16 GB upgrade to anyone who does so in the future. There's room for an M.2 NVMe SSD to be installed. Considering the system storage capacity is only 120 GB, this will definitely come in handy in the future. The 14" IPS display is noticably small, and not very bright for outdoor use, but inside, it's sharp. At 1920x1080, there's plenty of pixels for play. The key switches are nice for what you get. No issues with the touch pad or key presses whatsoever. The power cord is fairly short. This is likely my only complaint. It's barrel plug stays plugged in very well and doesn't seem like it'll just skip out unintentionally like I have experienced with older barrel plugs in the past. Battery life is good. About 5-7 hours of normal use before it needs a recharge. The THX spatial sound is a bit of a gimmick, but still sounds nice with headphones. The speakers are loud enough to not need headphones, which is also nice. Despite it's small size, and brand, it's not a bad machine. And at this price of $349, it's totally worth it. It looks good. The metal chassis feels good. It works as intended. It offers some upgradeability, which is a huge plus to me. I highly recommend this notebook as a thin and light for anyone who buys a notebook.

I purchased this laptop in May and today October 21st the screen is damaged and I don't know how! I have never dropped it or anything. I call the manufacture and they tell me that's not covered under the warranty. I paid $370 for a piece of crap and can't get any assistance! I repeat it was never dropped, bumped or hit anything!

Greate price for a gaming laptop for my teen.

Great laptop for my teen! You are able to game with it, unlike a regular laptop or chrome book... I do recommend this item. Good price, great performance and clear display! The down side...it takes like 10 days to deliver.

kinda make me think twice tobuy it at first cause of unknown brand, but when linus tech tips introduced and approved it i took the chance and it was great and you can still upgrade it if you want. I bought the bundle price with bag and powerbank on it for only $300! worth the pay

This was the easiest computer I've ever had to set up. Adding emails was super quick, as was office 365 which was free through my school. This product was well worth the money, but if you want high-end graphics and gaming you may consider a different computer but for school and simple computer tasks it is wonderful!

I bought the black one with reduced price $209. The first impression is very good. Walmar's Motile done unbelievable for the price! It's very compact and lightweight. FHD IPS screen is very good. Maybe not so bright, if compare with MacBook, but I'm sorry, see the pricetag :). There are ~98Gb of free space from the box. Windows 10 works perfect. IR face recognition on the laptop works better than on my mobile phone. I upgraded the memory and added second SSD HP EX900 120Gb with NVme speed. Bluetooth works fine with my wireless headphones. The keys backlit has 2 steps, that's good. At this moment the installed 4Gb of RAM is quite enough for usage the Photoshop, Chrome, YouTube streaming and e.t.c. Highly recommend this product!!

Value for the money. Great when upgraded.

Verified purchase

This PC out of the box is a little underwhelming. Only 4 Gigs of ram and hardly any storage. But it is super easy to upgrade. I got this machine because I liked the look, price and operating system. Then I spent another $70. Upgraded the ram and SSD. Now it's a pretty nice laptop and way better than anything else at this price range.

Great laptop for the money!

Amazing machine for the money! Comes pre-loaded with security software and automatic driver update app that slows you down and occasionally causes the computer to crash or lock-up. Once removed, it's a screaming machine. Great buy!
