    • A. It's a slide hockey and no batteries required. If you are looking for air hockey, you could refer to our website http://www.themdsports.com for more options.

    • A. Well, my son (age 36) and I put it together. He had a little one when he was a boy and we had a blast playing. It is just a smaller version of a full sized one. It might be a bit challenging for some 6 year olds. All kids are different and I sure noticed one of my little guys actually had a more accurate view of the balls.

    • A. No its not too small for a six year old. I am an adult and can play the games with my kids. It is a small table like the size of a computer desk. The pool table being on the bottom is the shortest of the 3 games. The soccer and hockey games are a descent height.

    • A. Yes, glide hockey is different because it does not have air lifting the puck. The puck glides on the playing surface on it's own.

    • A. Glide hockey doesn't have air lifting the puck off the table bed. Glide hockey is simply a plastic puck being hit across the slick surface of the hockey field.

    • A. Yes there is a difference. Glide hockey is just a table that you use the puck pusher to slide it along the top of the table. There is no air involved. Although I also purchased an air hockey table from WalMart as a gift, won't know details until after Christmas on that one!

    • A. Yes, "glide" hockey is just as it states, glides along the top, "air" hockey uses air forced via motor from the underside of the unit. This unit has no motor or air, but rather glides along the smooth surface.

The hockey is not air hockey. Goose ball and pool is ok. The pool pockets are small, can fit my hand in side the pockets.

Only problem is that there are a million pieces to assemble but it was worth it. We love this in our garage for our kids and family

"Some assembly required" would be an understatement for this thing. Yes I finally did get it together (and for the record, I have built houses and commercial projects). The legs are essentially two pieces of particle board that are connected at the corner by only the imitation wood grained vinyl applied to the outside edge. Two of mine were warped enough that when I bent them to form the right angle the vinyl split the length of the leg. The rods for the Foosball were bent as well and no amount of effort will get them back to straight. The design also requires the pockets for the billiards to help support the legs, which makes getting the pool balls out of the pockets near impossible for anyone with a hand larger than a 5 year old. Once assembled (and with additional brackets fabricated and installed to make the legs solid) it is functional and for the money about what you might expect but if I had known about the issues with the design and assembly I might have looked elsewhere.

I ordered this game table on line from Walmart. Was suppossed to be a surprise for my grandson for Thanksgiving. I received in just a few days, but when I went to put it together discovered the 4 legs were manufactured backwards or they had sent me the wrong legs. I called the number on the instruction sheet, expained what happened and even took pictures of the legs and emailed them. In a few hours I was called back, told that I was right, the legs were the wrong ones and was told the would ship me new ones. Called the next day to see if they were shipped because I was told I would get a tracking number, which I didn't. Then I was told they wouldn't be shipping them because all the legs they found in the warehouse were wrong. So I had to take the 44 pound package back to my local Walmart for a refund. I ended up buying a portable game table from Sams, which is similiar (same company) and grandson loves it. They require patience to put together but was worth it in the end. This table is probably great, if the legs weren't manufatured backward so you can't put it together.

when I saw the picture before purchasing, air hocky isn't really air supported, it is glide hocky so wasn't expected much. Pool table is slightly lean toward one side so that balls couldn't run straight to other balls but I wasn't expected much either. All I care about foosball which my kid gives the most favorable of. It is fine. Well made. I just thought I could save money if I bought foosball and air hocky combo with much lower price when i had shopping. However, I won't regret it. It looks cool after all that assembling. Took three hours assembling myself. yeah a little help from my little kid. He wanted to help tighten joint screw it already tightened. My suggestion to the Manufacturer. There are two boards: one for foosball and another for glide hocky. Hope it should be combined to one with more sturdy board than the current thin two separate apart from each other boards. The cons for two separate boards gives hollow space between upper and down boards and it only supported by three wood chips but these are really not suppoting at all. I think it is design flaw in first place.
