I used to think of bidets as merely "those weird toilet gadgets the French use". I would have never even tried a bidet if I hadn't been offered one by the Spark Review Program of which I'm a member. The first thing I have to say is that they are very easy to install. At least this one is. I took my time and had it ready to go in about 15-20 minutes. I actually installed two of them and the second one took 10 minutes. With all the tools and connections they give you it's very simplified. If you're someone who just has no faith in themselves to install things like this then just ask a friend. As soon as they look at the instructions they'll say Oh this looks pretty simple. And it is. The action of the bidet is very straightforward. You turn the knob to get a soft spray of water right where you want it and you can soap up quickly and rinse or just wipe it down. Either way you're gonna get a whole lot cleaner than just dry wiping with toilet paper. When I think back of all the years I only dry wiped I almost shiver to think about it. That just seems so unsanitary now. I have daughters and granddaughters and my 2nd wife is half my age . They all say the bidet is a Godsend for that time of the month, and I can certainly understand how it would be. My wife has told me several times the bidet leaves her feeling so much fresher and cleaner at that time of month. She says we should've tried one a long time ago. And she's right.

Cold bidet
I know I never did get it installed I did create a leak on my old toilet, and while trying to figure out where the leak was and twisting the top of my tank it busted. I ended up going to Lowe's and buying a new toilet and packing up the bidet to be mailed back. I actually had gotten two one for each toilet, and my family members all agreed that a cold water cleanse was not going to work for any of us warm water yes but not cold. And we already use moist flushable wipes. And if you've ever tried to wipe yourself with toilet paper when you got a wet hiney it leaves residue thus I cannot see using less toilet paper as it advertises. So my free trial of a bidet turned into a $300 not so free issue. Thank goodness for on the premise handyman,

Unexpectedly Pleasant Goodbye Moist Towelettes

I have to be honest here and say that if it weren't offered as a Spark Review Item, I wouldn't even know about the Luxe Bidet line, and in this case Model 120

I told my wife about it and she was instantly skeptical and didn't really want me altering our toilet for a product review.

My thoughts were that we have our own water supply (well) and independent septic system and I do NOT like flushing moist towelettes that just don't seem like they would decompose in the septic tank.

I turned off the water supply under the toilet, flushed the water out of the reservoir to empty the remaining water, removed the toilet seat/cover, and installed the Neo 120 in less than 15 minutes with the nylon wrench and included Teflon tape. Spit-Spot, it was ready to use and the water was back on.

This is an interesting experience, my wife was the first to try it out and the result was a lot of awkward laughing, BUT she was instantly sold on the idea and agreed that it is a fantastic hygienic benefit! Spraying down before wiping just makes sense and now we're wondering why we haven't had one of these all along?

It's easy to operate, with easy control over the spray force, and a second dial to shift to the nozzle clean mode. The toilet seat does lean slightly forward and I highly recommend the free offer for those thicker bumpers for under the seat, this levels it out and accommodates the bidet.

Well made, easy to install, the function is "spot-on" and I can see no downside. We ALL love it and would certainly recommend it without hesitation or reservation.

Get one and you'll know how dirty you've been all along.

A delicate "approach"!

I received this Luxe Bidet Neo 120: Fresh Water Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment (Blue and White) from the Spark Reviewer program for my fair and honest opinion. I received it on Friday and finally had the opportunity on Wednesday to attach it to my toilet. The instructions for attaching were excellent. I have no experience with plumbing at all and was glad to see step by step clear instructions. The first toilet I tried in my house would not cooperate. The fittings would not come loose for me. My plumber evidently meant to have a tight fit which is good because that toilet never leaked and I never had any problems with it! On to the 2nd toilet...Success! First thing you do is turn off the water to the toilet. Flush. Hold down the handle and let the water in the tank out as much as possible. Easy. I had a towel and bucket ready for any water that remained. Step 2. Remove the toilet lid/seat and put the bidet on the toilet and put the lid/seat back on the same way you took it off. Easy. Now onto the fittings. Remove the fitting to the water tank. Attach the T-Bar as shown in the instructions. Attach the tube to the bidet. I used the plumbers tape that is supplied on the fittings. Now here's something I really liked...I had my choice of a "plastic" T-bar connection or a "metal" one! I chose the metal one. It has a shut off on it where I can adjust the amount of water pressure that comes through or if ever I need to, I can turn it off completely. (The plastic one does not have a shut off.) It took me about 30 minutes to do the entire process and get my fittings loose on the toilet and attach the fittings for the bidet. "Slowly" turn the water to the toilet back on. If there is any water leaks, turn it off and tighten your fittings. That should fix it. Now sit on the toilet and turn your bidet on. There are several settings and on the metal T-Bar, if too much water comes out, you can adjust that as well. I have never used a bidet or been exposed to one so this is a new experience for me. Having water spray my behind was quite different. That being said, I can see where this bidet would be beneficial to someone that has difficulty reaching and cleaning that area. Also, if you have a bout of diarrhea or are getting ready for a colonoscopy (sorry to be so outright about a delicate situation) you know that you get sore there and this is much better than continuously wiping that area. So you spray that area and pat dry. You know you are clean and that area is less sore if not sore at all. I also understand that many people use those convenient, in the package, moist wipes to clean themselves. You could do away with those if you have a bidet attached to your toilet. It will only spray if you want it to spray and you can increase or decrease the water pressure and amount of water you use. It also has a setting where you can clean the nozzles of the sprayer so you don't have to physically remove anything from the nozzles to unclog them. I would highly recommend the use of this bidet for the ease of attaching and using it, as an alternative to using wipes, and ability to do a no-hands cleaning of the nozzles.

Amazing!

This 120 Bidet is a unisex so has just the one setting. It does not change for male & female setting.

The installation was pretty simple. It took me about 30 minutes to install as I was not quite sure what I needed to do & so went slow to insure I was doing it correctly. I suggest getting bumpers for your toilet seat so that you do not break your seat & sit level. I got mine at Home Depot.

The nozzle is behind a door and only comes out when turned on. As soon as it is off, the nozzle retracts. The self-cleaning seems to do a great job cleaning the back, but I think you might have to clean the front of the door. Since this is new, it is not dirty yet.

Ok…so this was my first time using a bidet ever. Oh my goodness! I don't know if I could ever go back to going the bathroom without this. It is so much better than toilet paper! I cannot get over it. I don't think I have ever felt so clean! We now only use toilet paper to make sure nothing still wet and so we hardly use any toilet paper since we installed this.

Now the spray is pretty hard even on the low setting, but not hurtful. So, it might be me getting used to this or there might be something I need to tweak on my installation. Either way…I love this & will not be returning.

A must have.

I had always wanted a bidet but never got around to getting one, now I don't know how I've lived without one this long. I must say, at first installation was a little challenging for me because my water shut off is outside.. With the help of my neighbor, I was able to install it in a flash.. I love the clean feeling I get after using it.. I understand that you do not have to use the bidet every time you flush but once a day is best.. Will never live without one.. Talked to three of my friends and they have ordered this same one immediately.

LUXE BIDET NEO 120

THE LUXE BIDET NEO 120 IS EAST TO INSTALL AND TO USE. It takes a wrench and a screwdriver and about 10 minutes to install. The device fits under your toliet seat with the control knobs extending past the edge of the toliet so that you can adjust the flow and turn the bidet on or off. The bidet can shoot tow streams of water for the ladies duel cleaning and one stream for the men for cleaning oneself after a bowl movement. This device will get you very clean. It makes you realize how much the toliet paper swipe, without a bidet, leaves on your body. The bidet cleans every speck of waste off of your body and saves a lot of trees because you will use a lot less paper, if you have a bidet. Another plus is that the bidet can be started to clean itself while spraying downward into the toliet.

Make sure that no children are left alone with the bidet as a child can be easily entertained with the spray of the bidet into the room.

Great quality bidet!

I would highly recommend this product. This bidet allows you to select between different cleaning options one for cleaning, washing and for women. You can control the pressure of the water, leaving a clean feeling. It cuts down on the paper waste that's accumulated by using toilet paper. Very easy to install and even my 4 year old can operate the controls easily. We loved this product so much that we now have bidets in all of our bathrooms in our house. We even have friends that have purchased this same model of bidet for their own home.

Technology at its Peek

Luxe Bidet Neo 120

I tried the Neo 110. That was fantastic. The Neo 120 is extra-ordinarily fantastic with a added knob switch. This knob switches from wash to nozzle cleaning. The nozzle cleaning feature cleans the nozzle thoroughly. It's really an upgrade, and for the price, your bathroom looks classier. As it's been with the 110 model, it's so easy to install, tops, 20 minutes. As it's with all models, Neo 120 is equipped with control knobs that are user friendly for kids and the elderly. I love this product, as it makes you feel so fresh and clean after use.

Impressed.. Interesting.. It works!!

I selected this product, Luxe Bidet Neo 120 White, through the Wal-Mart Spark Reviewer Program in exchange for my honest opinion about the product. The setup of this product and it's instructions were very simple and easy to follow. Everything was straight forward and to the point. Now I will say that this is not something I would have went looking in the store on my own. Thanks to the Spark Reviewer Program, I saw this and thought this is something I would like to try so I selected it. I can honestly say I was very impressed and this is something that I have recommended to family and friends. One thing I will say during installation please please please make sure you turn off your water or else you will have a big mess. Did not happen to me but I am sure someone has had this happen to them and it was not a pretty site. Having this spray you butt is something one will more than likely have to get use to because it's just something different but I think it could come in handy. Ever had problems making sure you got it all? Not so sure if you are all cleaned? This is something that certainly can clear those questions for you. Certainly give this a try, could also be useful for kids.

Luxe Bidet Neo 120

This Bidet is awesome! It was better than expected and for the price it cannot be beat. I always wanted a real bidet, but of course I never thought it was possible because of the price and logistics. I found out about this product after a friend raved about it. I immediately purchased it and could not be happier. You will honestly never feel clean using just toilet paper after using this product. I have officially attained poop nirvana. It is important to note that it will feel weird at first, but you get used to it. The pressure comes out hard even on a low setting, but it's necessary, at least I think, to get cleaned properly. The water can also be cold, which I thought would be a problem. Trust me, you get used to it. I am not even bothered by the water temperature now. I know you are wondering how it hits the right spot and doesn't go everywhere. Somehow it just finds the right spot and I have yet to see water everywhere. It all stays in the bowl. In addition, you are going to save a lot on toilet paper. The only toilet paper I use is to dry and it is very minimal. Overall, this purchase is a must buy. If you want to feel clean after going number 2 and you want to save money then you can't go wrong with this.

1. It is made of plastic! It fits on the toilet under the seat. The unit is easy to clean and the water pressure can be adjusted by turning the knob. This is our second purchase of this product. This item was purchased for our son who is disabled.
