Not sure about the wattage, but the bass and speaker volume is powerful enough to cause complaints by picky neighbors. It isn't suitable as gym speakers, but do not worry about volume & sound quality at high volume. I imagine these could be used in a media room if you don't care about surround sound.

It is the second one I brought.  I got the first one for my computer at full price.  I would sometime connect them to the TV for movies.   At the reduced price couldn't pass on them.  Great sound for small system. You can buy sound bars that cost more and won't get the sound they give.

Worth it

they're very easy to setup, didn't need a guide. they look nice and sleek. the 360 degree speakers work very well but when you go behind them it gets a little weird sounding but not that bad. the subwoofer is very good, you can hear it from far away. the box is a good size. the controls are good, volume and bass controls. has good length cords, all have a velcro thing to tie them back up (except the power cord). overall these speakers are definately worth it.

Awesome

This speaker system is an absolutely perfect fit for anyone with a computer station is in a small room or bedroom. Everything is great - low power, a small footprint, great sound, including great bass from the woofer, excellent controls, a convenient port for using it with headsets, and most important, a very low price. I highly recommend this system.

Luv my Z523

The system was packaged very well. It looks very nice and its of good build quality. The sound is good considering these are computer speakers. It is exceptional for watching movies and very good for music. I ran some classic jazz and was very pleased with the output. You will not be blown away, these are computer speakers and thats where it ends. I would not recommend these if you are an audiophile, spend another few hundred for a pro system.

Good system for the price

I was a little hesitant shelling out this kind of cash for computer speakers even with the overwhelming positive reviews... but you have to hear this for yourself. These speakers put out high quality, powerful sound. It turned out to be worth quite a bit more to me than I paid, and it isn't as though I have very much cash to burn. $90 including shipping is a bargain!

These speakers are not worth the price! They sound good if you keep the volume half way up..I turned mine up and had major static...I had purchased the Genius 2.1 4 piece speaker system and for half the price they are great! (Walmart labeled it a 3 piece system but is a 4 piece).

Dissapointed!

These speakers only go up to 12kHz. Why anyone would waste the materials on including a subwoofer in a combo that can only go up to 12kHz is beyond me. It creates the illusion of quality, and then fails to deliver. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone.
