The Logitech K400 is an amazing piece of equipment. It's surprisingly light and takes a few minutes to adjust. The mousepad on the side of the keyboard is awesome! I don't have the usb for my Trackman, and the mousepad has helped tremendously. It does seem fragile simply due to the weight being so light. I wouldn't recommend throwing it in rage.

    Great for the price

I have had several small wireless keyboards and find that this one is by far the easiest to use. I use this on a Home Theater PC. I have a regular universal remote for the viewing options, but when I need to enter text, this is great. I used a Dinovo Mini, and it was good, but it was $120. For $35 this keyboard is a great deal. With the full size keyboard, the touchpad and the physical left and right click buttons, navigating is a breeze. The only improvement I would make is a backlit keyboard. If logitech adds that function to this keyboard and can keep it under $50 I would buy 2 or 3 just in case the first one ever breaks. Note: The touchpad works better if you go into the mouse settings in Windows and change the mouse speed to the fastest possible.

    Just Right

Works great as a portable to my Raspberry Pi in a SmartiPi case. Not too small to use like the Favi. If you need ultimate smallness and portability, use the Favi. If you want to enjoy using the keyboard combo, and don't mind a little bigger package, use the Logitech 400.

    Works great!

This is exactly what I need to control my tv. It works the computer that we have hooked up to the tv. We get all of the over-the-air channels, watch tv, surf the internet, etc., all using this all-in-one device . The dongle is around the corner in a computer that is in a closet that is behind the tv. This keyboard works fine from where I sit - about 15 feet away.

For the price of a keyboard, I got a 42" monitor!

I was looking for a way to view videos and pictures on my flat-screen, and this keyboard did the trick, right out of the box. Set-up was easy, and the mouse-pad was a no-brainer, since I was already using one on my laptop. My laptop came with an HDMI connector, so I hooked it up to the 42" flat-screen, plugged the wireless adapter into a USB port, installed the batteries, and I was ready to go. Movies on demand, family pictures, video clips, even web-surfing is now a matter of sitting on the couch and enjoying the view. I should have bought one of these years ago!

    Buy it online

Item works great- the touchpad can be a bit flakey, but I expected that for a wireless keyboard. I run Linux, and I was concerned that this keyboard might not be compatible with the operating system, but no- it just showed up as soon as I turned it on. (Yes, there is a very tiny power switch!) But don't pay this item off the shelf- buy it online for in-store pickup. It's $10 more off the shelf. If you buy it online, you'll save money.

Liked it so much... I bought more.

Logitech comes out with some great products, and when they start selling them for half price, it means they have stopped making them and replaced "new improved" versions that aren't as good as the original. I bought one, then bought a couple more spares..

    Wireless Touch Keyboard K400

I like it however it was a little overpriced as everywhere you can get it for $29 the keyboard is little smaller but the keys has the original size like on my 2 laptops so not smaller as other reviews suggested , I almost believed it is the mini keyboard but that is not the case .. it do what I need it for, the touch path is ok but I can't get my windows gestures to work on it other than scrolling the webpages vertically , download the software that should allow me to setup the shortcuts but did not worked , however the standard are ok, you can also switch to left hand, there is also power button on the keyboard that allow you to put your computer to sleep or shut down depend of your windows setting , also shortcuts for windows 8+ like setting button , devices, search and start what is a nice add on to the keyboard especially when you operate your computer on TV or via projector ( what I am using for ) they keys don't make the much notices in the first days but after 1 week you can hear them well so not so silent overall nice keyboard so I am keeping it

    WONDERFUL FOR DESKTOP

HAVE 23 INCH DELL ALL IN ONE DESK TOP WITH TOUCH SCREEN AND AM ALMOST BED BOUND MOST TIME SO THIS IS MUCH HANDIER THEN USING TOUCH SCREEN CAN PLACE ON LAP IN BED AND USE TOUCHPAD INSTEAD OF MOUSE, WOULD REC IT FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO USE COMPUTER FROM BED OR CHAIRS

    Great Couch Keyboard!

The sale price is what finally sold me on this little multi-function wireless keyboard. I have my desktop set up to be a media server, etc. through my big TV, and I needed a second keyboard so I could control it from my couch. This guy does the trick! It's roughly 3/4 the size of a normal, full-size keyboard, with about 1/4 of that used by the multi-touch trackpad. It does everything I need; controls all the key parts of Windows I was hoping it would, worked right out of the box (after plugging it in and letting Windows 10 download and install the drivers), can be totally customized (via Logitech's software), comes with a range extender, plays well with other Logitech "Unified" accessories, and is very quiet! Its not the latest version of this model from Logitech, but for $18, I'm certainly not complaining!

    1. Yes, it works just like a wireless mouse. You plug the receiver into the port on your computer and use the keyboard just like you would any other.

    6. Yes. I have owned this keyboard for three weeks now. No problems yet. I do not see any reason why it would not work for you.

    7. I realize this is an old question and that there are already several answers, but I'm answering anyway for the benefit of anyone who might consider choosing this keyboard based on those answers in the future. The technical answer is yes, this keyboard CAN be used with a desktop computer in place of a regular keyboard BUT there is more to consider than whether or not it is possible. I bought this keyboard to replace a flimsy, unreliable keyboard that came with a new Dell computer. I do use a mouse, but I rarely use the number pad on the right of a standard keyboard, so I thought the touch pad might come in handy and the keys that were missing because of it wouldn't be missed. I ordered it online and didn't realize until after I picked it up and brought it home that there was more to it than the touch pad simply replacing the keys that are typically in that space. I used it for a few days, but I just couldn't work with it so I returned it. The problem I had was that, because of the touch pad, the rest of the keyboard was affected. It's practically impossible to notice from the pictures with this listing because you can't zoom in, but the arrow keys that are typically between the number pad and the rest of the keyboard have actually been moved over to the left and added to the standard keyboard area, specifically, to the bottom two rows of keys, below the enter key and to the right of the space bar. Because of that, the rest of the keyboard is condensed and some keys that you use every time you type are slightly displaced....the right shift key, for example. I type the way I was taught in high school about a million years ago (without looking at the keyboard as I'm typing), so I found that I was missing keys because they were not where they were supposed to be, and I was wasting an unbelievable amount of time trying to compensate for that. I gave it a fair shot but I quickly learned that I would never be able to adjust to it. So, for someone who "hunts and pecks" and really wants that touch pad, this might be a good choice for you. But for anyone who types the way typing was meant to be done and is used to a full-size desktop keyboard, you will most likely find yourself extremely frustrated. I only wish someone had pointed all of this out before I wasted so much time with it.

    3. No. The keyboard comes with a small usb dongle. I don't know the max range, but I sit about 30 feet away and have no problems.
