These speakers can be very deceiving, because they do look good and have a very good sound, that is until they blowout, which may not take very long.
I don't live in the US, but my parents went to NY in March of 2011 and brought me two LS11 speakers, one for my bedroom PC and the other one for my office PC.
The one in my room, which was the one I used less, lasted for 4 months until it blewout. It happened overnight, no reason, never moved from its place, it just happened.
Ok, I could think, it's one out of a thousand speakers that has this problem, but no, the second one I bought lasted 2 months more until it blewout just like the first one.
The first sign it's gonna stop working is the green light, it starts to fade out, then the sound commences to sound weird, not clear at all, like the bass is the only sound you hear. The only way to continue to use it until I buy a new one (for sure not LOGITECH#, is to have headphones plugged in #in a weird way, with headphones, it works just fine).
I never did anything that could damage the speakers whatsoever.
And for me the saddest part is that I'm not having them returned or fixed, because I live outside the US, and to send them back to Logitech, it would cost me more than the speaker itself.
