logitech trackball mouse
great product. i've always preferred a trackball over a mouse. i lose track of where they are on the desk and bang them into things and sometimes they go flying off the edge. a trackball stays in one place, so that's not a problem. they are great for limited spaces or to use with your laptop in bed. only drawback is that most don't have a scroll wheel, but i can't think of a good place to put it where it wouldn't be in the way for me, so that's not really much of a drawback. logitech is a great brand. i bought this one to replace my old one. last one lasted 8 or 9 years. it's still working, but the left click didn't want to hold 100% of the time anymore. i will keep it around as a backup. yes, they are more expensive than a mouse, but totally worth it when they last that long.

Great Trackball

Not the best of Logitech's, but second best. This is my 5th. The best however was the old "Trackman Marble FX" which they don't make anymore unfortunately. Using a trackball is an instant cure for carpel tunnel syndrome you get from using a mouse.

best trackball mouse

I've been using this mouse at work for years; one for my left hand and one for my right hand to prevent RSI. I also carried one in my "road-warrior" bag. I just retired and bought one for myself for home. It is super easy - plug and play. Easily adapts to left or right hand use - no set-up needed. I recommend it highly. Wal-mart had a great price on it, too.

Love the Logtech Marble Trackball

This is my 2nd one. The 1st one lasted 15+ years. Was still working, but I think that a wire, inside, was starting to come loose, so I was getting some intermittent failure to work. This one is actually better as the ball doesn't fall out like the old one and that I (or the cats) was/were regularly chasing it around the floor. It's comfortable in my hand. I have arthritis in my thumb, so a regular mouse causes discomfort, which the roller ball doesn't. Love it! And affordable!

Great trackball

Good quality and design that has passed the test of time; no need to reinvent the wheel here. Works fine on Windows 10 even without loading the driver if you are OK with the standard default operation. Have seen this model for about $5.oo less online elsewhere but in-store pick-up was easy.

its so good i already ordered another one..

you use your fingers instead of your wrist so when you are older or have problems with your wrists this is the mouse for you . my old one is very old around 10 years old and it still works. love this mouse.

love this mouse/trackball

i have been using a wireless mouse but the frustration of it wandering around the screen and not responding properly was driving me crazy. the nice thing is this does not need a flat surface to use either so works no matter where i put it! It feels nice to use and does not make me get frustrated the perfect mouse!!!!

Love this mouse!

Bought two more of the Logitech Trackman mouse because I plumb wore out my previous one. I've taken to buying 2 at a time when I find it on sale because it's all I want and need in a mouse. There's a lot of different designs out there but I stopped looking at others once I found this design. My only complaint is that the ball sits on tiny felt pads, and with lots of use, they wear out and you need a new mouse. But pretty much everything wears out sooner or later, so I just replace it as needed. Walmart's price was the best, and I even got free shipping so I'm totally happy and satisfied with this product.

Scrolling works only on some browsers

I got it because of arthritic fingers, and it helps them. Trackballs are less intuitive than regular mice because since you have one ball doing both pointing and scrolling you have a click a button to choose whether to point or scroll, but not both at the same time. But scrolling is currently not possible with the Edge browser because there is currently no extension app to allow it, so I have to use Chrome or Internet Explorer.

Trackball

this is the first mouse I've had with a track ball. I purchased it for the recommendation of my doctor to limit my shoulder movement due with a regular mouse. this mouse is very heavy so when you set it, it stays in place and does not move. every week I move my mouse to the other hand so I like the fact of being able to adjust the sides or even if I just want to adjust so I'm not using my thumb all the time it is beneficial.
