Bought this for a couple of reasons, first, it was inexpensive, but more importantly, I had a recipe for corn bread that stated to bake in a 10" cast iron skillet. I have several, but they're all buttoned up in the camper, sealed for winter storage. The price was right, so I got this. I can't say I'm the least bit sorry, one little additional seasoning, (Crisco around the pan's inside, in the oven at 350 for an hour and a half), and the cornbread came out without the least bit sticking. This pan is not only way better than teflon, or whatever the "non-stick du jour" is, it will last forever! I love cast Iron cookware, and this one is a great, well known, and seasoned name, and a quality buy. Thanks Wal Mart for having these out for sale.
