Loctite is the best

My use for attaching stones to bolts to lapidary polish them is very specific, but this Loctite tape out-holds the closest competitor 2-1. Even though I get it wet and apply a lot of pressure, it always holds the stone. As long as this product is available, I will never use the traditional dop wax again.

Anything else is better.

The worst double-sided tape of any kind. And with the most outrageous claims. It can't hold anything, even its own weight. Terrible.

    Loctite is the best

    Great alternative to screws

    I've used this tape -- and 3M's alternative -- to mount glass, metal, and plastic items to both smooth and rough surfaces. Applied properly, it stays just about forever, yet can be carefully removed with a plastic prying tool without leaving marks on either piece. The secret is to press the two surfaces together with a fair amount of force for 30-60 seconds when first applying. Also, the bond sets up better after about 24 hours, so keep this in mind. It's a far superior alternative to foam tape -- holds more weight, and doesn't disintegrate into tiny pieces on removal!

    Money not well spent and a bad experience with WM

    This product does not do the job it was designed to do. I eventually wound up using regular double-faced tape.
