Canadian Nightcrawlers make excellent live bait for all types of fish as well as food for birds, chickens, amphibians, and reptiles. These worms range in length from 3 1/2 to 6 inches and have the diameter of a pencil. Canadian Nightcrawlers are cold-weather worms that should be kept refrigerated between 40 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. They are not composting worms, and they do not reproduce quickly.
