My kids and I have a blast with this! My kids think it's so cool how with the push of a button, it goes from a dozer to a racer! They laugh and giggle at that. The remote control toy car glides over carpet with ease and doesn't get caught or stuck. There are two top buttons (one on left and other on right) and that directs which direction you want it to go and if you hold them both down at the same time, it goes straight. The two bigger buttons in the middle is what changes it from dozer or racer. It's very simple to operate and my 3 year old got the hang of it quite quickly. If the controller is blinking, just shut the race car off and turn it back on which means that they're both in sync. This toy does require 6 AA batteries (not included). Car has plenty of power, and clever controls for kids. My issue is that the dozer transformation is faulty, meaning you can only go in one direction. I purchased two of these and had the same problem with both.

So we got this for my son for his 6th birthday. Not happy with it at all. Just doesn't work at all. Will be contacting Little Tikes and see what they say. This is really cute. Tough enough to play with and looks cool too. My son loves that it can change into a dozer because his grandpa has one too! This is a great starter RC because the buttons aren't complicated and they show clearly what they're meant to do. Its easy to switch from one form to the other. I am very impressed with this Little Tikes Rc Dozer Racer. I love that with a push of a button it changes from a race car to a bull dozer. My son absolutely loves it and plays with it for hours.
