The dresser was shipped to me. It arrived double boxes with plenty of styrofoam to protect it. I know first hand how well it was packaged, due to it being delivered in the rain. It was on my front porch in the direct rain for several hours before I got home. The box was was extremely wet, but the dresser remained perfectly dry. The instructions for assembly were great. The were easy to follow, clear, and precise . All the hardware was enclosed and the bolts fit the drilled holes perfectly. The instructions recommended two persons for assembling, however I was able to put it together by myself. It did take me about 2 hours, but I followed the step by step instructions exactly.
I really loved the dresser based on the style, but you never really know how durable furniture is until you assemble it. This dresser is not only gorgeous, it is also very well made. The dresser weighs 70 pounds, the wood is thick, and solid. The top panel of the dresser is about is about 1/2 inch thick. The dresser also comes with an option to buy the pad that will make the top a changing table. The manual states the top will hold up to 50 pounds, but not to put a television on it. The drawers will hold 35 pounds each. The drawers are really big, and spacious. I was mindful of the 35 pound weight limit because the drawers will hold a lot of clothes. The base of the dresser is a heavy metal that matches the color of the drawer handles. The dresser also comes with hardware to attach to the wall, so you will not have to worry about a tip-over. I am using the dresser in my living room. It is so stylish, and looks amazing with the rest of my my living room set.
I wanted to know why the company is called Little Seeds, so I visited their Facebook page. They have a really cute video about how they start from seeds. The page also shows how they contribute to National Federation's Garden for Wildlife project. I always want to buy from companies that give back, when the product has high integrity. This dresser certainly does.
