A food cup of tea
A good brand that is reasonably priced. I'm a moderate tea drinker so I was initially concerned that 100 teabags might lose some of the their flavor if I couldn't use them up quickly enough. To my delight the bags are packages in individual boxes of 25 bags so I always get good cup of tea. I always buy this brandd.

Terrible packing and shipping
All 6 boxes were crushed because Walmarts specially trained expert packers went out of their way to put everything in a huge box (too big to handle) WITH ALL OF THE CRUSHABLE AND SMUSHABLE STUFF ON THE BOTTOM and 10 quarts of liquid goods thrown on in the top. If I wanted to spend my time at Walmart (standing in a return line) I wouldn't have ordered the stuff delivered in the first place

Unbeatable Deal . . . .

Verified purchase

It's amazing how prices vary on this box of 100 tea bags, depending on where you buy it. Walmart. com has the absolute best price on three boxes. Lipton is the best tea, too, in my opinion. I only wish they'd go back to individually wrapping each tea bag. That keeps them fresher and cleaner.

I wasn't sure of the difference, as my Lipton now says Orange Pekoe. This tastes the same, maybe a tad stronger? Best price so I went for it. Glad I did.

1. I am 77 years old and as I aged my taste buds changed too. Even candy and ice cream no longer taste as strong as they use to. This might be your problem too.

2. The reason IS they removed the Black Tea from the tea leaving only Orange Pekoe Tea which does not have as strong a flavor. It is not a taste bud issue at all, or age. They might be removing the Black Tea which is a great flavor--to make people's teeth not get as stained because the lighter color tea does not stain teeth as darkly as black tea might (for those people whose teeth even get stained!). But, that should be the business of the tea and coffee drinkers. Taste buds are not playing tricks on people, the teas have been changed in several brands recently making the tea taste plain and too light--it is not as easy to taste it--orange tea is less flavorful. When I am hot and thirsty and go to grab the refreshing glass of tea and cannot taste it, I do not like it. I realize it is missing the black tea because the flavor is missing.

3. Thanks for your question! The terms "Orange Pekoe" and "Pekoe" can be confusing, because these are terms used to describe the size and grade of the tea leaf, not the flavor or quality. Lipton blends use the finest quality orange pekoe and pekoe cut black teas. Black, green, and oolong teas are all made from the leaves of the same tea plant (camellia sinensis). The color is determined by how they're processed, and the final flavor is dependent on how they're blended. Personal tastes and preferences do change over time; we hope you'll try some of our other teas and let us know what you think!

5. The chai is the only tea I have detected a taste change after they discontinued it about 3 years ago and brought out the triangles. The original Lipton is my absolute favorite tea for flavor. I use a tea maker and its always consistently good!

2. Most are a blend of black and orange pekoe teas. More and more, teas are coming from Central America, but, you get what you pay for. The better teas do come from Ceylon or that area.

4. It doesn't say it's imported, by law I believe that it doesn't have to say it is made in the USA, but it has to say the country of origin if it's NOT made in the USA. Yes it is orange pekoe, and black tea.
