Seam shoes through shirts
This is a beautiful bra with nice support, but I have to warn you all that the seam across the cup shows through shirts, I tried it with a T-shirt and a thicker shirt, both show the seam. I guess I can wear it in the winter with my sweaters, but VERY Disappointed that here I am trying to minimize my chest, and the seam across the cup draws attention.
Lilyette by Bali Minimizer Underwire Bra
The bra gets two stars because it's pretty. However, it gets lower ratings because of the side stays which poke into the flesh and leaves marks. I ordered two different band sizes but that did not cure the pain. I returned two of the three bras I ordered. The third one I wore but it is being passed on.
Not what I expected.
I needed to get some new bras, as I went up a cupsize. I'm a 36G, and that's a size thats hard to find in an underwired bra with enough lining/padding that my nipples don't show. This bra has all of that, and it has lace too so that's a plus. However, without a shirt on, you get the dreaded "torpedo boob" shape. It worked out fine under most of my shirts, but not all. The other issue is comfort and support: I was trying to readjust it all day and it scratched me a bunch. The under wire almost curved under itself and dug into me very badly. This bra was overall unsupportive and uncomfortable.
I bought some of these (style #428) in the exact same size as my previous ones (style #434) - you would think that a Bali Lilyette Minimizer bra in size 40D would be the same size style to style -- but these are way too short in the band -- Same with the comparing these 2 styles at any size (38C, 36C) See pictures below.
Mislabeled for size
Mislabeled for size is the only explanation I can think of for the difference between what the tag says and what the bra(s)--I bought TWO--measured. I sent them back, then noticed that other customers who bought these RECENTLY had also commented that they ran small and/or were incorrectly labeled. Too bad those comments weren't posted when I made my purchase. But even more telling is the fact that I've already reviewed the same items--with the same evaluation. Whoever is reading these is not recording them. I reckon you are only interested in positive feedback, which you can have when you match the right size tag to the right garment.
