Lightshare 7 Feet Artificial Palm Tree with White Lights

We love Christmas and the gaudy lights that foretell others that those within celebrate the season with enthusiasm. We purchased our 'Christmas Palm Tree' as a curiosity to enhance the other decorations. Little did we know how great it was going to look! Easy to assemble and stands well on its own. We used an old plastic flower pot, cut 4-bolt attachment holes in the bottom, and placed the tree trunk in the pot, aligned the holes and attached the steel base. We couldn't be more tickled! The picture shows the steel base exposed, otherwise we place a Christmas tree skirt around it. I told my wife it's good enough for all year. Skeptically she responded, "It doesn't belong in Virginia all year." ". . .ahhh," I offered, "It's in the FLORIDA room. . . ." Looks like it's staying. We both agree that it gives off just enough light for a nice ambiance without blinding you while we sit. It's reasonably well constructed and the 7-footer fits well inside our 7 1/2-ft ceiling. Down side: As advertised, it is not designed for outdoor use unless covered and protected from the elements. We'd buy several different sizes for our outdoor patio if they ever offer them for exterior use. Another plus: This tree makes those others palm trees, festooned with plastic garland, look like Dollar Store seconds.
