Great features, but site prep Extremely critical.

I bought this a month ago and paid to have a professional pad poured to ensure it was perfectly square and level. I also paid a professional team to install the shed. They were very frustrated by the instructions so I helped and some of the instructions may as well have been written in a foreign language for the help they provided in the installation. Even with the level pad and the corners squared, it was hard to fit some of the roof pieces into place. Pros: good size for the money; the double doors are great; plenty of room for riding mower, mower, cement mixer, garden trailer and more. Cons: the doors are not a perfect fit; the flooring is confusing on which piece goes where to insure correct door and wall installation. 99% of the troubles with this shed would have been avoided if they numbered the pieces and made the instructions a little clearer; e.g.: instead of saying to connect the two (whatever) together, they should have explained how to connect them. That would have saved hours on the installation time. However, even with all the cons, I would recommend this product, just be aware that it will be frustrating to install and site prep is critical. One day of frustration is worth the years of use this shed will provide.

Don't shed a tear .....Patience is a virtue

My wife had asked me for probably 5 years to replace our old shed. We had an 8 x 12 wooden structure that had sunk about as deep as the Titanic and housed more critters than the APL. I kept putting it off because I knew there would be more work involved then she realized. I would have to tear down the old shed, build a new foundation for the new shed and construct whatever I purchased. I will admit, I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to building projects. It's the motivation that sometimes holds me back. So before my son headed off to the Marines, he and I tore the old shed down and discarded it in a rental dumpster. That was as fun as a mild root canal. Next I built an 8x15 deck for the new shed. I actually enjoyed that other then digging the 6 post holes. Finally, the shed showed up at my house in 3 neatly packed boxes. The most daunting part of the project was lifting up the instruction booklet. This is a 100 page novel. I really enjoyed looking through the pictures and thinking how nice it would be to have this shed finished. So I had a vacation day, it was 95 degrees outside, and it took me 10 hours to assemble all the pieces before I even put one wall up. The rest of the week I had to work at my real life job. So in the evenings I finished up the rest of the project with a little help from my wife. There were a few head scratching moments with the instructions and I did make 2 calls to Lifetime for clarification. One thing I have learned as I get older is to slow down and read everything a few times. If I still don't understand, I have a beer and relax for a bit. Overall, this is a very nice shed and I have received several compliments from the neighbors. Don't rush the project. It's easily a 20hr job on your own. Have Fun!

my shed was delivered on march 25. i had already paid on march 20th to have it assembled. on march 31st a crew from GoConfigure came to my house and spent several hours before deciding that the job was too much for them to handle. my shed is currently spread all over my back yard. GoConfigure now says the next available appointment is may 8th to get may shed assembled. today's date is april 11th. this company is telling me that it will take a month and a half from delivery date to preform the job that they were paid to do. i'm sure it's a great shed but i would strongly reccomend not using Go Configure to assemble it.

Excellent Product !

Lifetime 8 feet by 15 feet Dual Entrance Shed met and exceeded my needs. Took my son and grandson about 7 hours to assemble. Love it and would highly recommend it to others for all their storage needs. It looks great compared to wooden sheds nearby. I have my 1330cc Honda motorcycle in the shed along with cordless battery lawnmower as well as other yard equipment and even a gas grill and a pedal bike of my wifes and I still have lots of room. No leaks anywhere and it locks up nicely. Am glad I bought it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

Exellent shed

I bought this shed in May and I could not be happier. It was easy to assemble and looks so impressive. This shed holds so much equipment that it easily replaced two old metal sheds. It is roomy and the skylights and windows give more than enough light into the shed. It is sturdy enough to withstand a recent hail and wind storm without so much as a scratch. I highly recommend this beautiful shed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
