I've been one of those people who rarely spends money on casual clothes. With my wardrobe lacking casual jeans as all had been relegated to painting clothes I decided it was time to get some new jeans. With the price they had on these Levis in a classic fit versus the baggy jeans everyone else seems to have I figured it was worth giving them a try. Many jeans have too high of a rise in the crotch for me but these have a nice low rise that prevents binding and the fit is perfect and I don't feel like my body is hidden in open space. I love them and will buy more should I see them on sale again.

Ok Levi's are by far my favorite jeans and always has been, but for the last 8 years the rear end of the jeans constantly rip out beside the top corner of the rear pockets, material is very week there, it happens to every pair of my jeans, I have had Levi's in the past that lasted for years on end now I'm only getting a year or so out of them, I don't use them for work at all, allways tears out in same spot, if you notice it's starting to happen on the upper corner of the opposite pocket, with that being said I'm ordering another pair, just hoping Levi's toughens up this area
Great, if you're lucky
[Review for the Graphite Levi 505 - Size 31x30 - PC9: 005050716] I have a mixed opinion on these jeans, partly because I received a mixed order. One of the 2 pairs I received matched the style in the presentation photo used by Levi at the time, and had, most notably, a leather tag with black ink. These fit fairly tight, as to be expected from the other reviews on the site, and I returned them. The other pair, however, had the traditional red ink Levi tag (I've included a photo for clarity), and fit very differently. These fit more closely with what I had expected from my other experiences with the Levi 505, and, on a quick examination, were made of a different fabric than the black-tagged version, and had larger pockets. Had I received these alone, I think an excellent rating would have been appropriate, as they have become my favorite pair of Levi jeans. Nonetheless, my overall rating should probably reflect the nature of my experience with this order, as I cannot be sure which model I'd receive if I were to try and purchase more of these jeans. Thus, despite my satisfaction with one of the jeans I received, my overall rating is lower than the maximum.
A fine pair of jeans.. W34 -H32 They arrived at an appropriate time frame with no delays. When trying them on, they fit nicely and a little snug. Of course that's normal before them being broken in. They are straight legged just as described with no bending restriction due to them having a little spandex material. Although they could be a tad bit more loose near the ankles to flow down even better w shoes. However if one doesn't not mind, then it wont be an issue. Overall I am satisfied with them & would recommend them!
Top Corner holes on back pockets
These are all my son wears that fits him probably. He is not overly active at all but after several wears and washes holes start showing up on upper back pockets of all the Levi's he currently wears.....this area really needs to be reenforced please!!! This is based on my son's jeans and not for me so all info asked for is not needed on me. Thanks.
Purchased to replace an old pair; very disappointed. Pants seem long for the size and threading at the bottom hem is loose. Again, very disappointed.
Not quite as advertised
The traditional “light brown” size and model patch was replaced with a “black” patch with only the model and size visible. The photo on the website showed the traditional “brown” patch. I am very disappointed!
2 belt loops missing, front pockets too small - not the same 505
I have been wearing Levi's since 1966 when I bought my first pair of 501's. I've never been disappointed until this last purchase when the 4 pairs of 505's I ordered all came with front pockets shortened 2 to 3 inches (my cell phone dimension) and 2 belt loops removed from the back! This IS NOT PROGRESS. For every penny that was saved on this blatant cheapening of the classic product there will be lost business because I and others will now have to shop somewhere else to find the essentials. Now my pants sag in the rear forming a W over the one remaining belt loop in the rear. Does this suggest that I should shop Wrangler next time? Also, the cell phone must now be removed from my front pocket when I sit down due to the shorter pocket length and the hip joint conflict. Very uncomfortable. PLEASE CHANGE BACK!
What is it about the left rear belt loop?
I've been a loyal Levi's customer since elementary school. In my mind they were the only real jeans for 40+ years. In the last 10 years or so, it seems that there is something about the left rear belt loop. At first they started popping loose at the bottom after ~6 months or so. My most recent 4 pairs started letting go in the 1st month. I've currently got 15-20 pairs of 505s that that are fine, except either the left rear, or left and right rear belt loops have blown out. I guess I'll go try some of those Wrangler jeans that I used to look down on.
