Lenovo's been good to me!
Great value! Still going. I gave it to my daughter. Must be good, she abuse everything. But this is the 4th Lenovo laptop I've bought. Never had any problems with any. Just sell the old and update now and then. I do have a Dell Inspiron, but it's touch screen and was over priced. Not any faster. But I install 12gig of memory in all the laptops I've bought. Anybody with any sense should do this.

Broke down 2 times in 14 months
I bought this laptop on April 2019 as a gift for my son, at the beginning laptop worked fine on October 2019 the laptop turned on no more, I bought an additional charger but also the laptop didn't turn on. I open a ticket (service order 7028528592) and send the computer to warranty and 3 weeks later the laptop came back fixed. Now on June 2020 again the laptop didn't startup, it turns on but it doesn't show the Lenovo Screen, you can't access the BIOS pressing F2, it does nothing. and now the warranty is expired. So in 14 months the same laptop broke down 2 times.

Wonderful piece of next generation laptop

Wonderful product, no words with price and quality Very Sleek, light in weight, very fast popup of windows screen when powered on Concerns However, 1 major concern is only 4 GB RAM, this product would be complete with 5 stars ⭐️ if it’s configured with 8 GB RAM Laptop gets heated after sometime due to Optane memory No DVD reader

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. Intel Optane Memory is solid state memory. It does not generate perceptible heat. Although the Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop is not user upgradable, your certified technician can add RAM to this configuration. There is 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. This configuration also has one open RAM memory slot that your certified technician can add up to 8GB of RAM to.

Very sad

Buy this laptop in Blackfriday, and yesterday on the screen I get a message that indicates BIOS. From there it did not start anymore and I got a blue screen with the message Stop code: INACCESIBLE BOOT DEVICE. The problem is that I am a citizen of Ecuador, contact the technical service of LENOVO in my country and they indicate to me that for having bought it in www.walmart.com, I do not have right to the international guarantee of the product. I am very disappointed because I trust the brand and they do not give me a solution in my country and nobody wants to be responsible. The computer has only one month of use.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop. The description of the issue you provide, sounds like a restoration of Windows 10 back to original factory settings will fix this issue. Your configuration of the IdeaPad 330-15 comes with Intel Optane Memory. To restore system, Optane must be disabled first in the BIOS o Power down system, power back on and press F2 to enter BIOS setup o BIOS setup > Configuration > Storage > Intel® Rapid Storage technology > Intel Optane, 931.5GB > Disable > Are you sure you want to disable > Yes > Disable o Wait for 3 minutes o The Disable process should be finished and there will be (2) non-RAID physical disks o Press F10 to Save and Exit - The system should now be able to be Restored - After restoring, you will need to open the Optane UI from the task bar and choose Setup > Enable > Select “Erase all data on Intel “Optane” memory module > Continue > Restart. Now you can restore the Windows 10 operating system to factory original settings by following the instructions at this link: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/reset-windows-10-pc. Be sure to re-enable the Optane Memory after you restore the system, then restart the device, as listed above.

Thoughtful Thinking...

Purchased as a gift and out of the box everything seemed fine. A few day later the machine became hung on the “automatic recovery repair” screen upon boot of system. Enter into the “system recovery” and from there system I've attempted to locate “safe mode”... Tried via bio “Diskpart” (unable to locate the key that would have allowed unlocking write protected info to complete and possibly fix this fault.) I've disabled the 16gb octane memory in the bios and system still “blue screens” restarts to the advance options and only allows language selection and restart of system. At one point, it did have a restoral point option but when attempted it failed and now no restoral “date” is available. For the price I thought this would have been a great system. However,in the back of my mind, I always knew IBM/Lenovo had a high rate of hard drive issues.. In fairness, there was a Microsoft update installed the night before and I've seen some articles indicating roll back of it. Contacted tech support and after working through the language barrier we've been asked to send the unit back. I appeared this is an WAL-MART.com item and therefore we could not take it back to the tire and exchange so that the eager teenage could continue useage. This is the second system purchased from Walmart that has failed. Lesson learned. Looks like the hard drive my have gone south.

Not Recommend!

I bought this laptop 1 month ago and then one day (about 3 weeks in) the screen went gray and no longer worked. I tried to replace the laptop at Walmart and they refused, due to a 15 day electronics policy written in small print at the bottom of the receipt. I asked to speak to a manager in Sayre, PA and not only was she rude but essentially told me that it wasn't her problem and told me to leave and follow up with the company. Please do NOT buy this laptop if you are looking for good quality or a long term product.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. The issue you mention may be due to a recent Windows 10 update. Restoring your computer back to original factory setting may correct the problem. Since you can no longer see anything on the screen, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. For 2018, Lenovo retained its place for a second year as the best laptop vendor: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/laptop-brand-ratings

Worst laptop ever !!!!!!

This is a crap. It makes so much noise and hang most of the time. I bought this product from Walmart 7-10 days ago from Walmart. At the beginning I thought these issues are common as I had to update the software and install other softwares. So I didn’t return it immediately. Thought it won’t be a problem for my regular use but it’s disappointing me gradually and finally from yesterday I couldn’t even turn on the laptop. It makes a noise with flapping stating screen. I tried different ways like unplugging the charging port, turning off by holding the power button. But it’s not working. This product is so bad and my worst experience with any kind of electronic devices ever. Now I am planning to return it to Walmart but I already transferred lots of valuable documents and photos from my phone and deleted from my phone to make space in phone memory. If I return now it then I will lose all of the documents and photos which will be the worst situation. I can’t explain that how badly I am regretting buying this product from Walmart. I literally don’t know what should I do.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop. It sounds like incompatible programs have been installed on this device, causing the operating system to fail. Be sure any programs you install are compatible with Windows 10. A restoring of the Windows 10 operating system to original factory settings may correct the issues you are experiencing. Because you can't boot to Windows 10 now, you will need to use OneKey Recovery. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Boot in safe mode". Select this. Your system should now boot to the Windows 10 desktop in "Safe Mode". Because your system has Intel Optane Memory installed and Optane Memory has an image of Windows 10 on it for fast boot up, Optane Memory needs to be shut off before you can restore Windows 10.
