I bought this computer as a new laptop to hopefully carry me through all of college. So far I've been able to run Rainbow Six Siege with the add on Ultra textures and it played without missing a single frame. It's lighting fast and I almost never have to wait for programs or anything of that matter to load. I was also pleasantly surprised that it has a super convient scroll bar on the home screen that allows you to easily alternate between superb performance and battery saving mode. If you want to plug in and game and then immediately unplug and use the laptop for the next six hours, the transition is right there and easy. So basically, let me sum this laptop up: it runs practically any normal program that you might need lighting fast, it runs graphically intensive video games without a hitch, you can easily alternate between energy saver and performance, and it has a sleek design that is a step up from a boring everyday laptop look.
- Its kind of heavy compared to other laptops (but this is to be expected if you want a laptop with performance like this one)
- It gets really hot when on high performance mode running something really resource intensive (although this too is to be expected with a graphics card like the GTX 1660 stuffed into that small of a space) of course if its on a desk this really doesn't matter
- the logo light on the outside is really bright (there might be a way to dim it, I just haven't looked) so if you charge your computer in your bedroom like me and you like it to be really dark, you either have to fully turn off the computer, or fully cover the logo. Not that big of a deal, just a personal preference.
Overall its a all around great computer that I have recommended to all of my friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
