Great personal heater. Wish it would oscillate as it gets very warm even on low heat. I do like that it has a temperature control and shuts off automatically. I cannot comment on how it heats a room as I use it in my living room, where the ceilings are two stories high. Considering how much heat it puts out, I would think it would heat up a small room very quickly.

Tiny but powerful
This is a tiny heater - which is great because it allows you to store it easily in your close. It works great to warm an average-sized room, we even used only the 1st level.
Been using this product for 2 yrs already. Warm enough for a small room, no need to turn to maximum, very quiet at night. I put one in the bedroom, 1 in the bathroom. This is my 3rd one.
Best heater ever! Im going on year 3 of pulling this out for the winter! It really does a lot to be so small, im going to buy another one , saves me money!! Id rather use this most days than turn on the heat!!
Best ever for being so small.
Who would have ever thought so much heat could come out of a heater this small. I bought it partly because of the brand Lasko. I put it in my bathroom so I wouldn't have to heat the whole house just to take a shower. It works better than any little heater I have ever bought before. Just enough adjustments to get what you want and works like a charm. I highly recommend this heater. It's absolutely the best I have ever had for the purpose of heating a smaller space.
I ordered this heater when on sale after lots of research and paid for two year warrantee since dealing with makers other folks said was a pain. I did as instructions said and plugged in an outlet with nothing else plugged in. I never use level 2 the 1500 watts due to it sometimes overloading and blowing a fuse according to other reviewers. I haven't had it turn off I have to do it when I'm hot enough. It blows hot air in about five seconds after turned on. I agree that it feels good when you are not far from it and you cannot feel it from far away, but I do not think it means it is not hearing the room up. I have no idea why a reviewer here thought it would warm them outside on the porch it is not meant for outdoor use. I got it same reason most sensible folks did here, my heating bill was $99. I didn't use the oven, unplugged all appliances unused, only cooked on a burner, and laundered in warm water only once this month, and showered quickly four times this month trying to not go broke. So it has to be the heater and I only used one in the bedroom and piled on coats in other rooms. If my bill goes down after using this heater a lot I will tell you.
The heat is on!
So far so good- this mini heater heats up a 10x10 room (with glass sliding doors and two windows)- temp dropped so my outdoor/indoor room is now comfortable- but it's only “autumn cold” though- I'll have to let you know how winter days below 40degrees fair
This heater is under-rated on this website. I've had it for a year, and it's a good, practical tabletop heater. It puts out a lot of heat for it's size, and the heat it blows is HOT. The fan also blows the heat a good distance. This would make a good bathroom heater; when I use it in the bathroom I find it effective if it's placed on the floor (since heat rises). Close your bathroom door for a few minutes, and it will warm up your bathroom. It also makes a good personal/spot heater for the kitchen or living room. It won't heat a big room, but it will heat an area. And if you leave it running long enough, the ambient temperture of the whole room will rise a little. It also has a thermostat knob that you turn to adjust the level of heat. I took off one star for value, as I paid about $10 less for it than the price listed here. But since Walmart.com is such a great place to shop, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it on this website. By the way, this heater was listed as a "best value" heater on various consumer websites across the web. You can't really go wrong. Versatile size, decent price, blows hot heat, and seems durable.
Item is USED. There is a dent, as well as black markings on this heater. I would have returned, but my mother accidentally threw away the packaging, and I didn't want to go through the hassle. I tried calling customer service and was told it would be a long wait. Automated system asked if I wanted to schedule a callback, which I did, but NO ONE called me. It works, it's just used.
Product from American company but made in China
The heater itself works fine but I was very disappointed to see that it was made in China. I specifically looked at many small heaters to see where they came from . I was very happy to find that the Lasko brand name stated it was a small shop that started in 1906 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. It said it has grown significantly over the years. This is the reason why I bought this product because I "thought" it was American made. I will not be buying another Lasko product and I will be sure to tell people that even though this is American company they're still paying China to make their products.
